Spam filter: needs option for display names, not just addresses
Spam filter missing a major feature... you can only block sender email addresses but not their display names/aliases?
I have two spam emails that change the subject matter and others to get around filters, but if Yahoo was properly designed, I could easily block those display names which are always the same.
The fact that this is a problem goes to show why Yahoo is struggling to keep up with the rest of the internet.

OATH Yahoo Small Business Abuse Reporting DOESN'T WORK!
I have been getting some SPAMS from domains that ARIN Identifies as OATH (Yahoo small business) IP address.
(ARIN - American Registry for Internet Numbers)The Abuse Reporting addresses that ARIN lists are "unmonitored email account(s)" and the web pages those replies reference DO NOT WORK!

Your old version had the feature that I could multi select by holding down shift between single selections. New version doesn't have???
Your old version had the feature that I could multi select by holding down shift between single selections. New version doesn't have???
If I select a single box next to an email and hold down shift then click on a lower email box, the old version would select all emails in between, now that function does not work. Now it seems i have to click top box to select all 50 emails or all email total? OR individually I have to click each box next to email to remove. I like the old multi select between with holding down shift.

Remove "Suggested product categories to watch"and "Deals from this message"
The headers are so cluttered with nonsense. I will never buy anything you put up there. I don't need to watch categories and most of the "deals" are not deals and are incorrect. It is just obnoxious and intrusive. Turn it off

ATTACHMENT DOWNLOAD PROBLEMS Cannot download attachments--can preview them, but not download. Contacted AT&T: they say I am not a customer, they simply forward my e-mails, so they cannot and WILL NOT help. Yahoo does not provide online help for this issue: only pre-determined issues. Yahoo cannot be contacted. HELP!

why break something that wasn't broken - i don't want to give Yahoo or any other such my profile info - leave it on my local system.
Let user keep and change "profile, settings" only on local computer. Give users option to keep profile info on local system or stored in the Yahoo space. If Yahoo needs the my profile before it can read them from my system first to set whatever it needs to fit my profile..

This company is assaulting many yahoo email accounts, here is the information you need to shut it down, Plenty of people have gotten emails about people trying to sign into their accounts, this should be an easy investigation. -

Mail disappeared from Spam BUT didn't reach INBOX.
Today evening, One Mail, which was found in SPAM Folder, was actually Not SPAM, so when I ticked onto it to shift it to INBOX, it didn't reach into INBOX, then where has that Mail gone ? That Mail is Not even coming in Search also ! Please help. (The Mail had come from "BASAN").

Add "Block" to "Action" category so we have simple way to block unwanted email in both email programs
Add "Block" selection to "Action" category in both Yahoo mail programs. We will then have an easy way to block unwanted emails including those that are from scammers.

Read mails are not updated or deleted in all interfaces
First of all please accept to have a place where there will be a form to submit a complaint. Naming it as new ideas is accepting that you are ideal and don't want to hear complaints.
My issues:
1.
I read mails from android application and delete many of them everyday while I am outside. Then coming home and browsing on my computer. Yayks! I have them as if didn't read and deleted today. Doing the same work I did earlier. Can you fix it please?2.

search in one email only
I do have more than one account with yahoo. and I like how I can see all on the left side of my screen.
But, I can not search in just one of my accounts.
for example if I search for "DSW", the results will appear from all my accounts, which is I do not like. I hope there is an option to choose which account I want to search inside.
