Bring back the new mail indicator on the "Spam" folder
Hi! Although rarely, a non-spam e-mail gets into the "Spam" folder".
In the old Yahoo mail interface the number of new e-mails was shown next to the "Spam" folder. In the new interface that's not there, so I need to remember to check my "Spam" folder for possible non-spam e-mails. If I have the reminder that there are new mails in the "Spam", I would do so. I think you need to bring that new mail indicator back.

The ******** video ad's that are front and center of Yahoo Mail are 100% blocked in my country now making them completely useless and just spam cluttering my inbox. remove video ad's even if they are news stories, if I wanted to read news I would hit the******** News tab not enter my***** email.

Could you PLEASE remove the mouseover message in inbox that show "checkbox not checked". It has absolutely no use and is very irritating when trying to check multiple checkboxes.

You can improve New Mail by replacing it with the OLD mail, the one that had conversations in it.
It's simple. Just restore OLD, valuable Email to that were the 1st and ONLY loyalists. RESTORE = LOYALTY

notifications
There is a HUGE need for more custom notifications in Yahoo Mail. This is such a basic ask that I cannot believe it doesn't exist. You should be able to get push notifications for certain senders, or certain filtered folders. You can do neither currently. I don't want 100 push notifications a day for every single email I receive. I want push notifications for a certain sender only. I tried adding to my contacts and then selecting the option in the app to only receive notifications when emails came from people. This doesn't work either.

Make the "Move" drop-down behaviour like the old Mail
In the old mail, to move an email into a folder, you selected “Move” from the top of the Mail menu, scrolled down to find the folder, selected the folder and the email would go into that folder. If you wanted to move another email into that same folder, or one close by, you would do the same steps except after selecting “Move” the drop-down menu would NOT start back at the top folder, but at the last view, the folder would be right there. Now, the “Move” drop-down goes back to the top each time.

There is no basic mail
Followed your instructions for going to basic mail (settings>more settings>switch to basic mail). But there is no switch to basic mail. What is there is "switch to classic mail" and once you go there you immediately get the "This version of Yahoo Mail will no longer be available. We encourage you to upgrade to the newest version of Yahoo Mail now". message. SO where is basic mail???

Have "Customer Care" IDENTIFY WHICH COMPLAINTS it is referencing
When "customer care" sends a reply to an Abuse complaint, they NEVER use a reference which IDENTIFIES WHICH COMPLAINT THEY ARE REFERENCING!
When I submit a complaint to "Email a specialist" they supply an incident number for that complaint. When I get an answer, there is NO CASE NUMBER that I can connect with their reply!Today, I received a reply, for a Yahoo SPAMMER I submitted, I THINK.
The reply said that the headers had been forged and it was not sent from Yahoo. There was NO REFERENCE I COULD MATCH TO WHICH COMPLAINT I HAD SUBMITTED.
