How can we improve New Mail?

Right side panel (advertisement) seems to be oversized: make it a little narrow and it will be acceptable

    Screen resolution is NOT the issue. Your (Yahoo) problem is that you have two competing screen parts sharing the same page. Set up this part to their specific % of WEB page width. Also some emails are not fit to width, i.e. only 75% of email shown. Shrink the email.

    Just use chrome and various ad-block extensions.
    ALL ads are removed; the side panel *AND* the top-mail nag.

    Yahoo is slowly going the way of netscape... fading into irrelevance. And they're hastening their own demise with the 'new' e-mail interface which removes contact lists and deleted the add contact function.

    I'm going over to google. Bye, yahoo. 17 years was a good run, but you've blown it.
