Views: PEOPLE from contacts as a choice.
Rarely do I want to view groceries or travel or such. This is a mess. You are going to force me to make Google my main email. :( I need an easy way to see email from people from MY contact list.

Yahoo needs to be sued for forcing payment to block ads.
Yahoo forcing users to pay for an ad free email app when a) it was free to begin with and, b) people can't just drop their email ID - is tantamount to extortion. Yahoo need to be sued.
If anyone will start a class-action suit, I'm in.

Please hire a software ergonomics engineer. And if you have someone already, please replace him or her (or them) with someone or a crew who actually know what they're doing. We had better designed software than THIS (ergonomically) in the 80's.

Cloud attachments
In what world would "upgrading" to a format that doesn't allow large attachments or attachments from the cloud make any sense??
I will now be forced to close my Yahoo account and use Gmail--which allows large attachments in email and also has Google Drive for anything huge.

New mail sucks
The new mail won't sort to go through only unread mail when reading email. When I sort for unread and I start reading I don't want it to then go back to every email in date order. I don't like the functionality of the new mail. And now you have taken away the ability to go back to the old email. I am really not happy and honestly if something doesn't change I may quit yahoo mail. It was and is bad enough that there has been such issues with double emails and not deleting emails. Place a Download button in the new emails with attachements. Right Click does not work!

Improve existing Unsubscribe Feature
I just got a great Yahoo feature that said it would send unsubscribe notifications to all the emails that I don't use. You have to first hit "unsubscribe" for the sites that you want to unsubscribe from. The other option is to hit "cancel" and to keep those emails. Unfortunately, even though I wanted to unsubscribe from everything listed, I was unable to click on "unsubscribe." When I put my mouse on "unsubscribe" and when I clicked, nothing happened. However, it did allow me to hit "cancel." This was unfortunate because by clicking on "cancel," my computer registered this as…

Received mail loses text formatting. Example, mail sent from Outlook has red bold formatted text. When that mail is received in yahoo, that text comes across as plain.

I don't know if it's only me but I get confused finding the latest email in a string of emails. Fix this like the latest on top and the oldest at the bottom.

ALL MY MAIL IS GONE!
I have just signed in after a couple of months not using my account. ALL MY MAIL IS GONE! I see that yahoo has posted below that after 12 months of inactivity, accounts are deactivated and emails deleted. However, I have not logged in for much longer than this before and come back and used my account and read emails even respond to relevant ones. If there was a threat to my account being inactivated, why wasn't there an email or notification from yahoo each of those times I logged in. I log in now to refer someone to an…

Stop telling me to switch
Yahoo keeps tossing a pop-up at me that I need to switch to the new format on one of our accounts. I did that, it's your system that isn't working, because when I switch to our other account, (which was also switched over), and switch back, it suddenly is the new format.
Get your end of the business together. Not a fan of your new format, but if you're going to insist, at least make sure it's working ON YOUR END!
