I attempted to upgrade my basic yahoo mail to 200GB storage with no ads, for a monthly price of $5.00. I filled out the application, providing name, address, etc., also payment method via credit card. When I went to check out, I received a message that the transaction could not be completed at the time, that I should come back later. Please stop the awful scammy spam adverts from McAfee at the top ad on my inbox.
I do not have an account with McAfee so it's definitely not been paused due to a billing issue.

Pls constantly monitor Yahoo Mail systems & inquiries to ensure no error keep occured. We wish to purchase extra storage but can't do it.
Wish to purchase extra mail storage, but uon filled in all payment detail. We can't make payment successfully. Your Yahoo message indicated that - "Its not you, it's us. But we're working on our issues. Come back soon."
But after wait for more than 2-3 days, our payment still can't be make. Yet your Yahoo alert massage mentioned if we didn't add storage then we can't use our yahoo email.
Pls act urgently as we don't want our yahoo mail can't be uses due to Yahoo own failure or error. Thx -

Shame to see Yahoo on this money grab scheme.
Was exclusively using Yahoo mail but all of sudden asking me to pay for storage, without any notice that e-mails will not be received or sent.
Paid for $2.79/month BUT greed does not end here; After 4 days, it's doing the same AGAIN.Does that mean we need to keep paying Yahoo every few days to use yahoo mail?

Searching for emails on the new yahoo mail does not function as expected. I have 2 yahoo accounts that are linked, and when expanding the search options from the menu the mailboxes section only shows account1@yahoo.com and account2@yahoo.com and not individual folders/mailboxes for a given account. Additionally, complex searches like
in:inbox after:2012-01-01 before 2015-12-31 returns emails outside of this date range?? -
Missing option in new email, & old email task not working
Why is the ability to Sort by SENDER now gone in the new version? It was there in basic & I used it alot to clean out my inbox. ALSO,,, in basic the ability to select multiple email by checkmark with SHIFT key is not working.

I noticed a button on the top right corner of my Yahoo Mail webpage that said " download the ad-free Yahoo Mail app". Based on that, I downloaded Yahoo Mail App on my Macbook. However, there has still been an aid at the top of my inbox in the app. I think it's a cheating.

Delete functionality not working correctly when trying to comply with storage limits
Hey you morons. I have an email account that is supposedly over storage. I'm attempting to delete messages at < 10K bucket size, but it seems to fillup the trash folder so you can't continue to remove messages. You then try to remove permanently delete message in trash in < 10K sizes and it seems to fail. What are we supposed to do. Do you even test this functionality out before rolling these limits out. Whoever the genius is this is clearly a money grab scam.

Selecting Messages
I'm cleaning up my inbox and having trouble with mass selections. It will initially select only 100 and then I scroll down to double check that there's nothing I want to keep, but then it keeps selecting more messages and I never get to the bottom of the list and have 1204 messages selected. Is there a way to toggle between a limitless inbox and a certain number of messages per page so the "select all" feature isn't just constantly checking more messages?

Archive inactive inboxes instead of deleting them
Myself and a lot of others use emails to send ourselves photos/videos/memories. It’s not something that gets checked regularly but to come back after a long while to see that it’s apparently been deleted is beyond heartbreaking. I had old family photos, photos of my parents, who are no longer with us; All my teenage memories just gone. I’d rather come back to my inbox untouched or have it archived but still accessible. As embarrassing as the ID is, this email had my whole teenage world and it’s really, really sad to see it’s all gone.

Paying for customer support is unethical.
When I was locked out of my account and needed to reset my email password, I discovered that I could only access support by signing up for a premium plan. This effectively forced me to pay for a service I did not want or need in order to regain access to my account.
Password recovery is a basic and essential function that should be available to all users, not gated behind a paid subscription. It feels unethical and exploitative to require payment for something so fundamental, especially in an urgent situation where a customer has no other option.

I need to be able to save emails to my local drive or to the cloud. Your help section's suggesting of dealing with IMAP is extremely difficult and not very clear. Other services (i.e Outook) permit me to do this. Why can't I do it on Yahoo or AOL

spam from dating sites showing up as ad in Inbox
The ad at the top of my inbox display is from "JapanDates", telling me about a 35 yr-old Japanese divorcee who wants to meet me. Why are you putting offensive spam directly into my inbox? Are these the advertising partners you are working with now? Inertia is all you have going for you at this point.
