remove the auto split screen shift when the cursor is trying to move mail into files
Can we turn off the split screen function whenever we try to move mail into folders. It is very annoying when the screen shift into the split screen mode and does not move the file and we have to move the cursor back and try again. The split screen should be selectable from the setting and not automatically moving around to create this annoyance. A very dumb design.

This is not something from us, but instead your browser Chrome. You can disable it under your Chrome settings. Hope this helps!

Better effort on the part of Yahoo is needed to detect spam before letting it get through to users.

Dating ads
There is no way I can stop dating ads. Nothing to click on to stop even temporarily. Please, please end these ads. My husband has access to my email. These are highly troublesome! I've tried everything outside of having to spend my hard-earned money to block or even temporarily stop them. Anything Yahoo can do is most appreciated.

false security ads
Ads that present a false sense of a security threat SHOULD NOT be presented on the email platform. Ads are fine for a free product, but showing ads that state that a virus is detected, should not be present in the platform. (Presented by good ole McAfee!).... Stop encouraging people to worry about their computers when there's no threat!

I am spammed / receiving unsolicited ads of a sexual nature which I do not want. Kindly block these as I find it offensive.

Show SENDER EMAIL address in SPAM folder (not SENDER NAME)
PROBLEM:
The SENDER NAME is the most obvious way a spammer tries to fool users - including using a "correct email address" in the sender field.
The FIRST thing I do to identify spam is to check the ACTUAL sender email. Either by hovering or hitting reply.
SOLUTION:
Show the ORIGINATING EMAIL address, NOT the SENDER NAME for mails in the SPAM box. This makes it MUCH harder for spammers to mislead users.

improve your spam filter.
Lately the yahoo spam filter has been almost non-existent. I have flagged the same emails as spam for the last two weeks and the very next day I will get two or three more. Almost all of my my spam was filtered and now hardly any of it is. Your spam filter does not work.

Ads
We should be able to opt out of certain ads on our email home page. I do not want certain ads popping up on my home page. I know that we have to have those annoying ads on our screen, but we should be able to opt out of ones we find offensive for some.

I have not been able to sign in to the Yahoo Mail for Android app since December 26th!!!! Spam constantly
Constantly receiving spam in such volumes I cannot keep them blocked. Have had my eml here since 2008 but am going to have to go with another firm if you cannot stop the spam. Hundreds a day.

This e-mail is terrible, you need a sort program that sorts incoming e-mails by the sender in this way it would be much easier to go through LIKE EARTHLINK does!

Allow more than 3 URL blocks. Yahoo does not appear to have automatic spam blocking
This category should be security or just usability of Yahoo mail. The amount of spam that gets through is bizarre. Why not block the junk mail coming from suspect countries. Every other mail system has a junk mail folder to put the spam in. Many email addresses are many random characters, those could easily be blocked. Since spam is not blocked, allow us to block more than 3 URLs so we can at least stop the continuously changing email addresses from coming in on the same ridiculous URLs.

REMOVE new pop-up notification feature that one has unread mail!
PLEASE REMOVE that notification pop-up that I have unread mail in my yahoo account or secondary account pop-up. It occurs with every new start of using Yahoo mail. Exceedingly annoying to have to remove it every time I want to go directly to see my incoming email! The feature is a nuisance!
