guess i will have to delete yahoo since i have to change my password every time i log in.....i should NOT have to pay a fee for customer support....especially since yahoo's changes caused the problem.

Deleted ALL E-Mails from my DEAD DAD After Inactivity
I would love if I could access all of the e-mails I received from my DEAD DAD. However, they are ALL DELETED because I was "inactive" for too long. WHY is that your decision to make and not mine?

If an account is unused or dormant for 12 months, it is deactivated and its emails are deleted, more info here: help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN2018.html Once emails are being purged during the inactivity period of the account, they are deleted from the servers as well.
While your recent login reactivated your account, the data deleted is not recoverable. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you!

stop asking for catcha every time I log in. Even if I log in ons the same computer , the same day, the same location. Security is good, but you are overdoing it. And even sometimes I cant go to my mail for over an (security) hour.

"Please, try again in one hour"
I use this account for my business. Very often, when I want to log in, it tells me: "We are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again in 1 hour" Meanwhile my business partner is waiting for me to reply, or connect to a video call and the link is in my inbox. Very annoying.

re-enable addendums
I've typically always signed up for services by using my email with an addendum. i.e. email+addendum@yahoo.com
This is a feature that used to work, and still currently works on many other platforms like gmail, iCloud, and outlook; but now no longer works on yahoo. It had made me miss many emails and has caused me nothing but problems to not have such a universal feature.

Block sender
What happened to "block sender". I used to be able to check all spam emails, click on the 3 dots on the right of the actions and get a drop down with block senders as an option. Click on that and they are all blocked at once. Other option was to individually block each spam email, a more tedious task but at least could block. Now both blocking methods are gone. WHY? I get the same obnoxious phishing emails daily, along with weird email ads for things I would never want. How do I make it go away?
Hi. If the limit of 1000 blocked addresses has been reached, the option will disappear from the drop-down.
Spammers are constantly evolving their practices and blocking their email addresses does not help, as they are mostly sending emails from spoofed addresses or they send the same content but from different email addresses, which makes it look like they are coming from the same email address.
Marking them as Spam teaches your personal filter to recognize them as Spam. I'm sorry there is no quick fix for this issue!

Remove mailbox from mailbox list without erasing contents of mailbox
I added two other mailboxes (both Yahoo) to my original Yahoo mailbox, so there are 3 mailboxes in the list. This was convenient for my family for a while, because one person could logon and see all three inboxes easily. However, circumstances have changed, I want to remove or disconnect one of those mailboxes from the view. I see an option to remove a mailbox, but the warning next to it concerns me. It says that it will permanently remove all messages and data.. Does that mean that emails in the disconnected mailbox will be erased? I have had one…
