    Unbelievable that Yahoo decides when to empty our trash folders instead of allowing us to decide that--I feel like a child, geez.

    By default, both the Trash and Spam folders empty automatically to keep your account tidy. You cannot change the Trash and Spam settings.

    • Trash deletion frequency - Trash is deleted after 7 days.
    • Spam deletion frequency - Spam is deleted after 30 days.

  5. Feature to block spam email

    Yahoo mail was allowing a person to block spam email on a permanented base. By that I mean I could click on the 3 dots next to the spam link and I was given a choice of a choice to stop these types of emails from being sent to my email address. This was working great and now that feature has been removed. Why? You were able to look at the email ID and or the URL and see that it was going to cause malware. Why was this removed?

    Hi. If the limit of 1000 blocked addresses has been reached, the option will disappear from the drop-down.

    Spammers are constantly evolving their practices and blocking their email addresses does not help, as they are mostly sending emails from spoofed addresses or they send the same content but from different email addresses, which makes it look like they are coming from the same email address.

    Marking them as Spam teaches your personal filter to recognize them as Spam. I'm sorry there is no quick fix for this issue!

    I see many do not want reminders, however if it is switchable on or off with controls such repeat with a set date or not , it has a value. I need a way or reminder to follow-up on sent or received emails.

  7. phone number for recovery. don't have a cell or mobile phone

    Please accept a landline phone for recovery. I don't have a Cell or mobile phone and don't plan on getting one. Says it's now required when an alternate email should be enough. If a phone is required, then accept a landline as well. There should be a choice. If a phone is required, make it accessible for all

    In the current version of Yahoo you are required  to provide a mobile phone number to protect your online safety. It's important to have updated information should you ever need to change your account settings, reset your password or contact Yahoo customer support.

  11. Have a way for me to talk to someone about a problem with your email platform that doesn't require me to pay

    Have a way for me to talk to someone about a problem with your email platform that doesn't require me to pay. Example: I have a yahoo account set up to automatically forward emails to another account (which is a feature no longer supported for free users, but it's still going for me). I want to stop the forwarding, but without paying for Plus I can't access those settings anymore and I can't talk to a person to fix this issue (that should not be happening because, again, automatic forwarding was supposedly disabled for free users over a year ago)

    it used to be possible to set up disposable emails, so that when they were delivered to the inbox I could specify a unique color. Please bring back this disposable email feature. Thank you

  14. Stop asking me to Secure my account

    I have had my account over 20 years and almost always check my email daily. In the last 3 months I have had to change my password three times. I don't care to change the password AGAIN because you guys fail to keep our information secure. Passwords don't have to be strong, if you guys do your jobs right. They are just emails. If I have to change my password again, I will be closing my account for good. Twenty years be damned!!!!!

  17. Block email/domain limit more than 1000 as phising/spam senders increase

    Email recieved more than 1000 senders with spam/phising emails and with the increase in domain/account creations for spam and phising emails to come from, 1000 limit either needs to be increased or removed and replaced with unlimited number to block.

    My mail was hacked and Sign in helpers chat support is not working in India. Please add the mail and phone number to your help and support page so that it is visible to everyone. I had to google around to find the mail of a grievance officer.

  19. Bring back allowing us to use the "keep me signed in" feature.

    I have always used the keep me signed in button, not just on yahoo, but all my apps the have the feature. Suddenly, I log in and it doesn't work anymore. Why? Do you honestly think taking that feature away improves security. Your millions of users aren't stupid, they know how to secure their computers, this is kina of an insult. PLEASE, bring it back. I notice of all the comments and complaints on this site, nothing has been changed/implemented. Shame on you!
