Why do I keep getting emails from places I have already blocked.
Verify that you have the exact address in the blocked address field. Also keep in mind that emails filtered as spam will bypass any filters on the account and go straight to the Spam folder.

Incorrect Weather Location
Weather location is wrong. It detects my San Jose, CA location correctly but place me in New York when the page is refreshed. This happens with every machine and browser I've tried.

PLEASE STOP emptying my email trash folder for me--let ME decide that!
Unbelievable that Yahoo decides when to empty our trash folders instead of allowing us to decide that--I feel like a child, geez.
By default, both the Trash and Spam folders empty automatically to keep your account tidy. You cannot change the Trash and Spam settings.
- Trash deletion frequency - Trash is deleted after 7 days.
- Spam deletion frequency - Spam is deleted after 30 days.

Feature to block spam email
Yahoo mail was allowing a person to block spam email on a permanented base. By that I mean I could click on the 3 dots next to the spam link and I was given a choice of a choice to stop these types of emails from being sent to my email address. This was working great and now that feature has been removed. Why? You were able to look at the email ID and or the URL and see that it was going to cause malware. Why was this removed?
Hi. If the limit of 1000 blocked addresses has been reached, the option will disappear from the drop-down.
Spammers are constantly evolving their practices and blocking their email addresses does not help, as they are mostly sending emails from spoofed addresses or they send the same content but from different email addresses, which makes it look like they are coming from the same email address.
Marking them as Spam teaches your personal filter to recognize them as Spam. I'm sorry there is no quick fix for this issue!

I see many do not want reminders, however if it is switchable on or off with controls such repeat with a set date or not , it has a value. I need a way or reminder to follow-up on sent or received emails.

Please accept a landline phone for recovery. I don't have a Cell or mobile phone and don't plan on getting one. Says it's now required when an alternate email should be enough. Have a way for me to talk to someone about a problem with your email platform that doesn't require me to pay. Example: I have a yahoo account set up to automatically forward emails to another account (which is a feature no longer supported for free users, but it's still going for me). I want to stop the forwarding, but without paying for Plus I can't access those settings anymore and I can't talk to a person to fix this issue (that should not be happening because, again, automatic forwarding was supposedly disabled for free users over a year ago)

Stop asking me to Secure my account
I have had my account over 20 years and almost always check my email daily. In the last 3 months I have had to change my password three times. I don't care to change the password AGAIN because you guys fail to keep our information secure. Passwords don't have to be strong, if you guys do your jobs right. They are just emails. If I have to change my password again, I will be closing my account for good. Twenty years be damned!!!!!
