I sent a request only 4 hours after my emails was deleted unexpectedly. After two days, nothing has been recovered. No message from yahoo. At least you can give me the status of my request... Frustrating...

Support land line telephone numbers for authentication. There is no mobile phone service in my town! If I get locked out of my account because I haven't signed in for a month or something like that and you require be to be able to receive a text message, I WILL BE LOCKED OUT OF MY ACCOUNT UNTIL I TRAVEL TO ANOTHER TOWN DAYS LATER.

When I start typing in an address, the whole address doesn't populate like the original email. I have had complaints that email keeps bouncing back to the recipient. I am a fastidious email user and my box is continually being cleared out. How is this happening? I am about to drop yahoo email altogether. It worked just fine before.

I received an email saying that I had requested to close my account, I think it was an attempt to get my email password.
I don't think I should be asked for my password. They said that I had requested to close my account. I did not but I am not giving someone my password who I have no idea who it is asking for it.

Sick to death of having to get codes to sign in. This is twice in 3 hours!
Why do I have to go through the hassle of getting codes sent to my phone to sign in and then an e-mail telling me what I've done. Gmail doesn't need to do this. Yahoo isn't a patch on Gmail. Only wish I didn't have so many old contacts or I'd delete the lot in a heartbeat.

Lost E-Mails, Terrible Format
My in box does not show e-mails I have been saving until I could act on them or put them in folders. Instead, I now have e-mails going back to 2007 in my in-box. This new format is terrible. I am very unhappy. This seems like a good time to move my account to almost anyone else.

I am deactivating my account-thought you would want to know why.
I tried to get assistance on the forum, with no luck. I then had to navigate my way through a completely convoluted customer service portal that discourages participation, only to be directed back to the forum (even after I said I had already done that) and have no other options for communication or help from yahoo. I am going to gmail and never looking back. I had this account since 1998 and will not be recommending any yahoo products or services in the future.
