  1. Expand the email filters

    It would be tremendously useful if we could create filters using regex. I am getting many emails from the same domain, but the user is apparently different. So being able to block based on everything following the @ would go a long way. (Also, I get emails with empty return paths, which also should be something that obviously should be filterable)

  4. How to search for a an email that is only in my inbox?

    I need to search for an email that is only in my inbox and not in all my folders. I can't seem to only get inbox results when I try to search I all the email that are also in my inbox and folders which I don't want.

  5. Emails that are opened should no longer be in bold as "unread".

    This is less a new idea and really a bug.
    1. Open an email
    2. Go back to inbox
    3. Opened email should no longer be bold as it is "read" not "unread"
    4. Requiring manually marking it as read
    5. Labor intensive, negative production and process hit

  7. How do we report scams if there is no email or enquiry form?

    What is the email address or mechanism to report scams to Yahoo? I have a screenshot of Yahoo being impersonated with "You have been hacked emails". How to contact Yahoo when reporting scams?

  10. Need help for implementing OAuth for sending email

    I am planning to implement OAuth in my desktop application for Yahoo email, and I'm following the documentation provided here: https://developer.yahoo.com/oauth2/guide/. However, I'm encountering several issues and would appreciate your assistance.

    I need to use OAuth for sending emails, so I have registered an application in the developer center as a Public Client, intended for mobile apps, native apps, or single-page apps.

    For my desktop application, I have used the redirect URI urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob. Can you suggest an alternative redirect URI that would properly redirect to a desktop app? I have already tried http://127.0.0.1:50454/callback, but it did not work.

  11. Block KEY WORDS vice just ADDRESSEE

    Should be able to block KEY WORDS in subject line; like GUMMIES, ADT, etc. rather than just blocking senders; getting 35 different IP's for GUMMIES/CBT and dislike having to BLOCK each and every sender.

  13. Allow holders of email accounts to change their password.

    I am currently being disallowed to change my email password. Every time I've tried to navigate the process, I reach a blank window that simply says "something went wrong." What's going on?!

  15. By increasing the amount of emails that can be deleted....

    I shouldn't have to be making an idea for this but here I am since almost everyone's new ideas in today's society is moving backwards from an already almost successful system. A year ago I was able to delete more than 200+ emails; trash and inbox. Now, I can only delete 200ish emails at max at a time or the system will fail to delete. What happened? Is this now part of a yahoo+ thing? If so that's horrendous, I highly disagree that a feature to limit the amount a user can erase at a time exists unless they're subscribed…

  16. I can only see 5 emails at a time in my inbox?? Remove the ad blocking my inbox

    Please remove the bottom ad that blocks me from seeing my emails. This is the final straw that will push me to gmail. It's unrealistic to only see 5 emails at a time
