Turn off spam mail checks on any mail I forward to the Spamcop service
I frequently forward my spam email to the Spamcop service which reports the spammer to their ISP and website hosts. Occasionally Yahoo mail stops me from forwarding the offending mail and displays the message "your mail cannot be forwarded because it resembles spam." It then puts the mail I'm trying to forward in my drafts folder. This is ridiculous. Yahoo mail should be changed to turn off this check for any mail that I forward to Spamcop.

UNREAD FILE FOLDER
Unread File? I choose to unread some files on purpose, Moving them to a folder instead to read later. YOU people in your infinite wisdom to irritate by providing more without improving (more is must more...ever hear of K.I.S.S.?) won't allow me to move those unread files out of that folder into the folder I want them in. So, that UNREAD folder stacks up with undistributed files, all mixed together. I liked Yahoo Mail of about 6-8 years ago.....now its a burdensome maze of poor choices sucking the time out of my daily life. Simplify like you had it before…

Backup
It's been said before but needs repeating...the ability to easily back up everything in an account, including folder structure and attachments and ability to download it all to a local storage. This feature is well worth paying for.

Keep accidentally hitting the Spam button.
1) Can you please add a setting that gives us the option to "Confirm" a message as "Spam"?

I want my old mail box system back the way it was, on 7/11/21. where I could select action for emails to be archived, where I could click delete all- and it would delete just 1- page at a time, now it looks like it will delete the entire mail history...Please- PLEASE provide an option to go back...

Can't delete aliases
I want to stop seeing the email address I created years and years ago and only see the current one I use, but yahoo has it as my default so it won't go away. I should have the option to delete it, it's all the same account.

Yahoo deleting authentic emails as Spam - not sending to my Spam Folder for me to assess!
For the last 8 weeks I am missing valuable emails from 2 companies.
I called Yahoo US support desk (from Europe) on 11th September 2021, and was told Yahoo had automatically deleted these mails presuming they were spam!... And this is the reason I don't receive them!
The first email address that Yahoo deleted, I have been receiving their emails since NOVEMBER 2020, and Yahoo blocked these since July 2021.
The second email address that Yahoo deleted (and vitally important!), I have been receiving their emails since 1st MARCH 2021, and Yahoo blocked these since the evening of 6th September… -

Bring back abuse@yahoo.com. Non-Yahoo users (like myself) who want to help you shut down accounts used for spam shouldn't have to jump through the hoops of reporting through a form on your site. I used to be able to forward the original message + message headers to abuse@yahoo.com - something I can still do with almost every other major email provider out there, and something that I'm sure they're grateful for.
You've just made it so that I won't report, and you won't know to investigate and shut down abusive accounts, making Yahoo less relevant in the long run.

You requiring a real phone number is a major accessibility failure for those of us who don't hear.
I don't hear well enough to use a phone. So I use VOIP because it's free. You're saying I either pay to get a real phone number in order to use you mail or I can't use it. That is a MAJOR accessibility failure.

Make it easier to remove my other email from the Yahoo site.
I have two email addresses for a reason. I don't want the rest of my family reading my emails. Please make it simpler and a bit less stressful to separate the email addresses. It says everything in that mailbox will be permantley deleted. Now I am worried that if I remove it the whole lot will be erased.

Allow switching the email address between the main mailbox and the alias
A while ago I logged on and was shown some screens that pretty much forced me to merge my two Yahoo email accounts. Lets call them one@yahoo.co.uk and two@yahoo.co.uk.
The reason I had two accounts was because I wanted to move away from using the first one (one@yahoo.co.uk) because it was being used by spammers. However I still wanted to keep it active in case I received any important emails.
When the merge happened, the system chose one@yahoo.co.uk as my main mailbox and two@yahoo.co.uk as an alias.
It would've been better to be the other way around…
