Misleading ads...
While it's only irritating to me (because I'm tech savvy), it could be genuinely concerning to others...
But having an ad that says "Virus detected!" is EXTREMELY misleading, because it implies a virus WAS detected and they need to download the software that they're advertising. Regardless of WHO it is, they need to reword their ad, so that it's honest, not panic-inducing. Something like "Stop Viruses before they affect you!"

not spam
I mark emails daily from the same senders and yahoo still keeps putting them in my spam folder every day, most worthless feature/function you have. No ability to designated specific emails as not span or "safe". gmail is a far better service, but I am forced to use yahoo because cox no longer supports email. by the number of comments concerning this issue it is obvious you've done NOTHING to correct the issue, explains the decline of yahoo since the 90's and 00's.
This issue might happen due to the senders' IP reputation or email content such as pictures/links. The more often you mark these emails as Not Spam, the more you train your personal mail filter to recognize them as legit.

Unlimited block option
I realize that this is a place to voice ideas or concerns. But My thing is do y'all ever read these and highly consider our suggestions? What's the use of having this feature if you never use it? I would seriously like to be able to block every unwanted spam email that comes to my inbox. It's so dang annoying. And just as everything else you have to be able to keep up with the signs of the time. They are coming at us 24/7 365 days and it's hard to keep up with. So please just make it an…

The font is too small to read.
Make the fonts larger again. Some of us can't read the tiny print you are now forcing us to try to read. It is time for me to close my yahoo accounts and go to another forum? I have been here for ages.

Provide a sort option for all columns, ascending and descending. What a screwed-up mail app with only a date sort option! I am 82 years old and even I know when data needs a sort option; especially when trying to delete unwanted emails or trying to find specific ones.

Firstly I've followed your "contact us" route but theres no one to contact!! Why doesn't my e-mail appear in order of date they were sent?
I can't seem to contact anyone one here but my e-mails don't appear in the order they were sent it's driving me nuts and I can't keep track of stuff anymore. I wish I'd stayed on the old yahoo. It was straight forward and simple. What can I do. I am loosing track of e mails daily with this set up?

We really need to be able to disable keyboard shortcuts. I often hit E by accident and it starts mass-sending mails to the Archive folder.

pdf preview
I am comparing contents in 2 pdf files from two separate emails. When I click back on the other tab, the pdf preview shows back to page 1. I want the pdf file to remain staying on that page.

Make it so that spam filtering, and/or user defined filters actully work.
"While 99.9% of spam, malware and phishing emails are being caught by our spam filters..." SURELY you must be joking. I get literally 50 obvious spam messages per day, i.e., Yahoo is 1000 times worse than any other email service I have including for those where I perform spam management personally. Your spam filtering is at best less than 1% effective (i.e., it is completely ineffective)....

New from Cox
As someone forced to use your service after Cox abandoned or sold off their email servers, let me say I'm not impressed. It looks like Google mail has been copy and pasted. First off, I do not like ads being put in my inbox; nor can i even delete them. The right panel seems to change ads every 10 seconds which is distracting when I'm trying to read important emails. Lastly your using a generic star system when Cox had a colored flag system that worked wonderfully so I ID emails by color.

folder names in search list
When performing a search it presents a table with the sender, subject, folder and date, but the folder column just says Yahoo on every line. If you hover your mouse over the 'yahoo' it will say something like Yahoo/friends but as it is it's a very useless list!

Your Contact Us function is not working.
My idea would be for this to work because your Chat is worthless and your phone # is way too slow. I have an issue that should already be resolved that took 2 hours on phone and I'm still waiting a day later. And when I Contract Us, there is no way to actually choose a Topic to move the process forward. Very frustrated right now considering that this issue was caused by Yahoo Mail marking an e-mail Spam that was not Spam.

Why does this new Yahoo have so many ads? I get ads in the side bars, ads at the top of my email list, ads in the middle of my email list, ads at the top of emails themselves! Stop with putting ads everywhere!
