  2. aliases, i.e. disposable addresses, not available

    I got a Yahoo! email address because I was led to believe by information on the web that I would be able to have aliases, i.e. disposable addresses. This feature appears to have been removed. This greatly diminishes the usefulness of an email account.

  3. STOP SHOVING DEMOCRAT POLITICS ADS DOWN MY THROAT

    I am NOT a democrat and I prefer to not see anything related to politics. There is no reason why an ad and a photo of Biden should take my space. An ad that claims "thanks to me" they achieved something.

    Please keep the politics stuff out of my sight.

  4. moving an old @verizon.net email from AOL back to Yahoo

    Years ago, Verizon had their email service through Yahoo - Verizon Yahoo. Then they dissolved the service, and AOL took all their emails - @verizon.net. A few years ago Yahoo said they would be accepting the emails back. I had tried numerous times, but with no luck. I like having my old email which I still have through AOL, but I WANT Yahoo. I now have 3 emails, which is way TOO much. Please, if at all possible try to allow the old emails. Thank you!

  5. ads in inbox layout

    just a suggestion, you may want to remove the ads or make it as small as possible because this creates a bad user experience. users only need fast and efficient services, not necessarily a beautiful colorful design so even if you make it as colorful as possible people won't use it if almost half of the page is filled with ads that actually takes long to load.

  8. Unified Search URL

    I've been using Yahoo! mail since the start. I've made a few hacks to simplify things. One such hack creates hyperlinks to email searches in Yahoo! I've found these work on either the desktop OR mobile, but not both. The difference appears to be the /d/ and /m/ in the URL. Why can't they redirect based on the useragent? That would be so easy to implement.

  10. Irritating

    Can't change font back to black in email. No bars on left to click on. Nothing in settings. Have been working on this for 2 hrs resourcing info on the net. Frustrating.

  17. Malay (Malaysia) Language Translation Requires Improvement

    I am using Yahoo Mail in both my local (Malaysia) language and English, and I've found numerous errors in translation that is making the experience awkward and confusing. Are there ways for me to give input or request for translation corrections?

  18. let users disable spam filter

    Your spam filter is worse than useless -- it's dangerous.

    I'm a Pro subscriber. Your spam filter is filtering out business-critical emails and causing me to lose money. Losing certain emails would threaten the existence of my business. My Pro subscription should give me the power to control my own spam filter.

    Yahoo used to have the option to bypass the spam filter (via custom filters), but you removed this option for some reason. Bring it back.
