Compatible with more browsers.
Why not have it supported by more browsers instead of forcing users to adopt a new and different browser. Make it work with AVG Secure Browser, for example.

I honestly prefer the updated layout...
currently with the old layout I cannot directly reply to any emails and the background choices of colouring and design for the user choice was awesome

Cannot whitelist an email address. Always send an important email to spam.
Cannot whitelist an email address. Always send an important email to spam. Suggest to have Inbox folder option available when selecting filter function. Currently you can only archive to put it in trash folder. There's no Inbox folder option. That means you can only archive or delete incoming email but not whitelist it.

Stop collecting fees from the spammers
Today is a typical day for me, over 60 spam messages and only one actual legit email. This is overwhelming! Does Yahoo Mail want to serve actual users or junk mailers. Make a choice before I chose to delete my account.

About a week ago, I cut a line from an article, and pasted it on some comments on Yahoo News. Since then, all of my comments are rejected.
Can you please restore my ability to comment on Yahoo News. All of my comments are rejected. Why???

How about knocking off the robot verification and verification codes, PARTICULARLY when you reject the codes.
Get it together with these verification checks. Every time I've tried to sign in recently, you've had some kind of verification check for robots, unusual activity, or some other nonsense. It's gotten very stale, especially when I type in your verification codes and you still insist that "something went wrong."

Just for the record, your latest update stinks. I liked my dark forest background. I hate having to scroll up in order to delete. The escape key doesn't close a box. I haven't checked on tabs, but I bet they're screwed up, too. Please, I want my old email format back!

Emails from Yahoo periodically show up then disappear (no filters or forwards in place) . It happens sporadically.
Email alert happens, message appears in mailbox on iPhone then disappears. Does not appear on yahoo mail either. It is sporadic and has been happening for quite some time. Have removed yahoo from iPhone and reinstalled, but the problem persists. frustrating. If I can catch the emails nd open it, it will remain in inbox, otherwise gone forever....

deletion of emails
Thank you, Yahoo. I'm in the middle of possible litigation with a federal agency. Since your stupid email service decided to unilaterally and without consent to delete my emails for the past year, I'm SOL. Thanks a lot. You used to have a decent email serv ice. Not any more.

My auto spell doesn't work in Yahoo. How do I fix that?
