Spam & writing format
omg i get so much spam. I have 2 yahoo email both lots of spam, I have 2 gmail and 2 hotmail. From those 4, I get in a year what i get in a day from yahoo. Each year I said by next year I am getting rid of both yahoo because of the spam as well as writing an email can not copy and paste on email is becomes an attachment. Also no format hotmail & gmail have highlight, B U I. numbers & bullets. yahoo nothing. worst format in writing and worst with spam

missing items or can't find them
can't find where to change font, size , color etc.
tired of closing mail, thinking i am in an internet tab, wish it would be able to freeze the top of the email, where it notes it is mail,

Please add back the folder list on the left margin
In the new email format the folder structure can be found in a drop down box. Having the folder list visible was much better user experience.

I used to forward several attachments from files easily , now I select one then go back to selct another etc. Seems like more steps involve
go back to making it easier to attach items from my files to forward to others. Now i have to make individual picks, attach itto my email, go back pick another , attach, again and again up to 5 choices beofre forwarding them via email too much work now

Remove the countdown timer for a new 2 step code to login into your email,its not needed,just have a button saying send new code!
When you have a timer it stresses you out to add the numbers quickly,its not needed,just add a button to send new code like other sites do.

Can't edit forwarded messages
You've got to be kidding me! So now when I forward a message I have the choice of sending the entire thing or deleting the entire original message. No way to delete part of it, not even the part showing the person's name and email, which is a privacy issue. Again, do you even TEST this stuff before forcing us to use it?

get rid of right panel that opens when one searches in Yahoo Plus
dunno why anyone thought that I need to see a panel when I search for an email that tells me how long I have been corresponding with someone, how many emails I've sent and what the subject was in the first email. How is any of this information remotely useful? I used to work as an human factors engineer for Boeing and this is pretty much the same as a pilot opening a chart and a panel displaying telling him/her how many times they have flown to that airport and when the first time was. Readd the "return to folder" button
In the old basic mail a week ago, when you clicked on an email, there would be a button in the top left that said "Return to <FOLDER>" with whatever folder you had been in. Clicking that would take you back to viewing the folder in the state it had been when you left, including if any emails were checked off or not.
Now, that button is missing. So there's no easy way to get back to viewing what you were looking at before you clicked an email.
Please restore the "Return to <FOLDER>" button.

NEED algorithm stopping spam like this
PLEASE write an algorithm to stop '****' like this from getting through the system. I should not have to deal with this daily to mark as 'spam' when it is OBVIOUS.

One click switch between accounts
I have more than one Yahoo mail account, for different purposes. I used to be able to click on the user icon and change between accounts. Now I have to go to the home Yahoo page, click the icon, choose the account, login again, explain again that I don't want biometrics or two factor authentication, and choose to view email, and close the tab with the home page on it. And often you make me verify my recovery information. It has been the same for years. It will continue to be the same. This is not useful, it is annoying…

why did you get rid of the dropdown box options??
the old system allowed you to right-click on checked item and do the selection. now, we have to check the item(s), go to the top of the account to the "actions" box, then click on GO. SO MANY MORE STEPS!!! this is not efficient at all. guess it is time to get rid of Yahoo and move on to other email options.

Cannot control Enhanced Contacts
Hello,
I am using Yahoo Mail Basic (and have no desire to switch to a newer version), and I have noticed that the people I correspond with are automatically being added to my contacts without any action on my side. According to the Help pages, I should be able to disable this feature by disabling Enhanced Contacts, but there is no control setting for Enhanced Contacts on the Contacts page that I am able to access.

Restore functionality to sort by Sender within a folder.
I noticed today that I can no longer sort email messages within a folder by Sender. This is an important way to find and manage emails, since the Search function isn't working very well.

It is horrible to have to sign in in another account to get a code to sign in in yahoo mail
It is horrible to have to sign in in another account to get a code to sign in in yahoo mail! It is annoying and completely useless if a password is give. This is done in order to steal more information from the users to bombard later with ads. IT IS NOT A SECURITY FEATURE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MORE SECURITY THAN A PASSWORD!
