get rid of scam advertisement
The following ad is blatant scam or phishing targeted to seniors. "Seniors Are You Skipping These Benefits". Get rid and pay better attention on who you let buy ad space.

Let users know, through back up email, When their accounts are deactivated.
I recently found out that my email pillar81@yahoo.com has been deactivated. I am currently only able to access my email on one computer. I am able to delete emails, but not able to receive them. There have been no new emails since March 4th 2026. I have tried to sign in through the yahoo mail app and other PCs and I receive a message that says that my email is not recognized. a notification would be nice, so I wouldn't lose access to and be able migrate all the emails that had accumulated in the 2 decades that I had…

Go Back to Old Yahoo
Go back to the old Yahoo mail. The new one and the Classic one are both terrible. Probably will start using Gmail if you don't go back.

Everyone...go to gmail
This appearance is horrible. First Microsoft Outlook goes down the toilet... Next Yahoo Mail goes down the toilet. The only user friendly email is now gmail...who would have thought?

Bring back the old Attachment method!
PLEASE go back to the old way of attaching things.
I am a photographer and send images A LOT - but your new way of attaching them is SO CLUNKY. The old way I could attach 3, 4, 5 or 6, or even more in one go. Why change something that worked so well?169th ranked -

I am not a BASIC user, I'm a paying Yahoo+ user
I tried your new version and didn't like it because it wastes so much of my precious screen space. Specifically, I don't want or need the right panel where it shows "Starred" messages. So I went back to the old version. But the old version no longer exists for Yahoo+ users. It just has the Yahoo Mail BASIC version, so I no longer have a reading pane (and probably other features). So you're FORCING me to use the new version. That does not sit well with me at all. If you say I can go back to the old version…

You can give me back my preview pane!!!
I tried your NEW mail again. It still bites. So I went back to the old. And now my preview pane is gone, and I cannot get it back. If this is your way of forcing everyone to the new version, I got to say, it really sucks. I've been a loyal customer for decades, and now I'm going to have to move to Google just because you decided to change things for the worse. I'm really really ****** about this! Can you tell?

You broke my mail!
I tried your new mail, again. And hated it. But when I went back, now I can only see the mail list. Before I had the messages list on the left, and the message on the right. But I don't see any way to get back to that. THANKS BUNCHES!

Basic things Yahoo should address
Why in the mail, working with the Inbox, and scrolling down to other emails in the Inbox, why does the left side have to move too. Such a pain in the rear end.

This is a useless email format. Too difficult to navigate. An utter disaster.

Start over
It was great before. You screwed it up. It is painfully slow. The appearance is a disaster. Both Outlook and Yahoo Mail are forcing users to move to gmail. So unfortunate. But oh well...ignore the users and this is what happens.

Are a wasted space. Show only name, email, number. Shows way more than one time. Does not show address.

Notifications on big changes.
Basic changes everyone should have is, there could be more. In form people of your 20 GB email account limit. You should show what the owner's account level actually is. There is nothing in the old Yahoo mail. You should tell the owner's of the email that you have changed the emails to 25 per page and inform them that they will have to look at the top right corner to see if there are more pages. These items really suck when you don't know they even exist or where they are found.

stop forcing 2 step verification when it is off
I always login from my desktop. I have 2 step verification off.
yahoo still forcing me to go to a different email to get the code to login.
Why do I even need yahoo mail if I have to go to different mail anyway.169th ranked
