Bring back classic Mail

You ask users for comments on how to improve the new basic mail? Then trash this new version. Your made it complicated, ugly and at the same time removed useful features.

Searching through contacts to get a send address is a waste of my time. With classic you'd type a couple of letters and the correct address would pop up. Bring back CLASSIC this new and "improved" sucks.

Can anyone recommend a basic email provider please? I think it's time we voted with our fingers. I've had a yahoo basic email address for over 20 years but it's time to go I think, this new email looks and feels like ****, it's not designed for basic users but corporate business ones. So is there a provider out there that anyone can recommend please?

Oh this is ****. Total ****. You are still showing that go into settings, more settings and press to go back to basic mail. NO CAN'T DO THAT. You have taken away that option yet you are STILL SHOWING it as an option to follow. Grief Yahoo just gets worse by the day. Why do theses big corporations never listen to their customers. Why can't some users have basic accounts whereby they read and reply and send emails, then file, or delete. So so very simple. There should be one account for corporate users and one for the rest of us. So so very simple. Yahoo is just like other providers they can't be arsed to listen to their customers. Too simple it seems.

What's this **** I'm looking at? What happened to be able to switch back to basic mail? Some of us don't need anything more than a simple email account, we don't need any bells or whistles, just being to read and reply to an email and file it. Simple. Very simple. SO why don't email providers EVER LISTEN to their customers??????????????

We were forced to this version of mail but I must tell you that this is horrible. It stops responding and also it is very slow. Please bring back the classic mail.

Worst so-called upgrade ever. Mark this as the first of the last days of Yahoo. What kind of company tells people to take it or leave it and thinks they won't leave it? Dumb.

I pay for Yahoo Mail PRO. Why in God's name are you forcing this interface on me? RETURN MY YAHOO CLASSIC EMAIL!

You don't want repeats of the same request but you need to know how many people want to CLASSIC VERSION restored. You SHOULD see the same request over and over again to know how many people HATE what you've done to yahoo mail. YOU caused this mess with that elementary school, garish, silly new version and you didn't even ask users if they wanted the change which is just wrong. You think because it's open that you can do whatever you choose to without asking us and that's very arrogant of you yahoo.

Functionally it's the same, but it's also significantly uglier. It feels like the web equivalent of someone taking an old fashion home and slapping the walls and floor with panels and tile that stopped being trendy in the 80s.
The main reason I stuck with classic was because it loaded easier whenever internet was unreliable. (The full version took so long my browser would often give up on trying to load it, and it was a miracle the time it loaded "fast" enough for me to switch it to classic.) Thankfully my internet is steady at the moment, but if it turns out this superficial update kills my ability to log in the next time my internet acts up, Yahoo's removal of my workaround for internet troubles would force me to switch to a different email provider.
