I just added attachments - which I do very frequently - and the process was far simpler and quicker before. I much prefer the old system.

The contacts call-up, where beginning to type a name into the "To" line, does nothing. As it seems that there are many versions of the Basic being implemented, that may not be the case for you. If I do not have an email address memorized, I must do a search-for-email in order to get it. I will be using a hardcopy address book to record important contacts - which I should have done from day one.
As you know, there is, essentially, no formatting. Even going back as far as original email, email exchanges with a recipient, appeared when you replied, and you could exclude non-pertinent exchanges by deleting them. With this new Basic, you have the option of showing the previous email exchanges, but they cannot be edited. If there are concerns that public domain exchanges will be edited, then let there be software for those users that blocks editing. Otherwise, there is no need to show, for example, 20 email exchanges in a Reply.
With "Send" now at the top of the page, along with other full-use features being dissolved, the sense is that the Yahoo! perception is that "everyone" is sending only text messages or using some other email service if they need to write more than a few lines.
With Replies, the arrows appear with each line. That, along with "Me," as sender, and I frequently copy myself on correspondence sent to communicate with government, is infantilizing,
Now, rather than taking direct Action, individuals must "Apply" the action. Why?
I am not one of those users who "threatens" to switch to another email service. I want Yahoo! to step up to the plate. However, if this feedback page is any indication, it appears that few users either complain or care, but I doubt that is valid.
Why, now, as I attempt to post this comment, and, when I was linked here directly by my Yahoo! email, am I asked to Sign in With Yahoo - and there is that red box saying, "Please sign in with a provider to continue." But Yahoo! where I have already signed in, IS my sole provider.

Why do you keep screwing around with my mail. I WANT THE CLASSIC MAIL because it is easiest for me to use in my particular circumstances and makes the most sense. It is easier to understand, find messages and use. WAKE UP ALREADY !!!!!!!!

Not sure why you keep changing but as you do and I can't keep up or find things. The layout is awful. I guess I will be looking for something outside of yahoo

I have an idea. Give us a venue where you and the users can be in the same room. Make it LARGE.

in the new yahoo mail pro, when I search for a keyword etc the results do not display which folder the email is in, so more difficult to search,

I only like the classic because the others are so difficult. Please just leave it alone this is going to force me to go to another brand of email. The classic was perfect why change if others like the change fine but let us be able to have an option not just change it and we have no say.
