search email exact phrase
We need a way to search emails with wildcards and exact quotes. I've been clearing my email for hours because I can't search based on whether the sender's name contains "Offercando" etc.Since they augment their name in several emails, this multiplies the work. I also searched content based on an exact phrase I put in quotes. Yahoo mail ignored this and just showed me emails with those words.

voip phone
Yahoo needs to ALLOW voip phone number for 2-step authentication. A voip is the only number I use and I'd like to use the 2-step authentication because my account was hacked. But without Yahoo letting me use voip for phone/sms verification--Yahoo email service SUCKS BIG TIME!

New Mail STINKS!
Why is the mail search icon in the middle of each email heading??? Almost everyone time I want to open an email that STUPID icon appears and I get a search page. PLEASE put the search icon on the left of right of the list of emails - NOT IN THE MIDDLE!

Get the ads out of the middle of my inbox! It is designed to look exactly like the mails listed, it's a distraction, and why are you trying to trick us into opening those STUPID ads? GET THE ADS OUT!

FIX DELETE & SEARCH FUNCTIONS
When doing delete, often items not checked get deleted anyway. Really a problem since there is no way to search in the trash folder.
FIX DELETE FUNCTION.

when sending email how do i know someone has gotten it?
i'm old but i remember that (in outlook), there was a way to send an email with a 'notification' of when received and then when opened. i cannot find it anywhere in Yahoo!. am i not seeing something? or does Yahoo! not think it is important? would like to know how to verify receipt of something i sent.

go back to the old setup the current one is awkward it has unclear demarcation spaces specially for attachments and
goback to the old format i do mot seem to be the only one

YET ANOTHER DAY OF NEW E-MAIL ****. WHEN WILL IT STOP?
Every day I open my e-mail in the vain hopes that Yahoo has actually listened to it's users, but no, my hopes have been dashed once again. The new e-mail is so bad, very hard to use, and also very ******* my eyes. GIVE US BACK THE CLASSIC E-MAIL, IT WAS PERFECT.

All my mail is gone. How do I bring it back?
I logged into my email today and everything is wiped out, no spam even. How do I bring it back? When I send test emails to the account, they do not show up.

where's people view?
One of the only 2 reasons I still use Yahoo mail is for "People" view of the Inbox, where'd it go? !
I was away a few days and luckily have notifications on my phone to get msgs from people in my contacts; now I'm back, there's an assortment of 285 new e-mails, where's the "People view" I (many of us) rely on to see those in that 285 batch of new e-mails?

Why should I get email that does not have a simple one-click unsubscribe? Yahoo should be fighting to make this standard. I tried an hour to unsubscribe from a site and then tried blocking and neither attempt was successful.

Return stationary
Hi, I really miss the stationary that you used to have. For example, ones for birthdays, Christmas. My family and friends enjoyed receiving my e-mails decorated as such. Would you bring it back again please?

Please return the option to mark items in trash as read with right click pull down
Please return the ability to right click on the trash folder to mark items as read. Also, show the number of unread items similar to folders.
