Cannot manage contacts with new version. Add a contact but then it does not appear in All Contacts. Also cannot assign a contact to an exist

Missing Contacts after new Contacts interface added
A bunch of my Contacts are missing in the new Contact interface. I see that there's a "more..." link to click for a section (letter) when not all are shown. That isn't the solution. I have Contact records that are just gone and I'm seeing old ones that I got rid of long ago. What's up?!

new yahoo contacts shown on the right side of pane is FULLY / TOTALLY messed up.Without adding an email address you cant save it.
new yahoo contacts shown on the right side of pane is FULLY / TOTALLY messed up. Without adding an email address cant save the new contact.All humans in this planet do not have an email address, but a contact should be saved by having a phone number or address or any other way to save the email subscriber want.
The earlier version gave did not restrict the way the subscriber want to save.
even they do not have an option to go back to old version -
make the contacts search function with a person name
