Actually, since you're already a liberal rag and you used to have this for free, I may be switching my email.
First of all, I don't like being taken to you're main page. Even though I don't like google, I will use them over you, if you don't stop taking me to your liberal rag of what once used to be somewhat good journalism. Not anymore. Anyone who is conservative is shut down in your opinion. Oh, but you'll take our money. I don't like paying for a free service. You obviously make money other ways. Stop asking me if I want to upgrade. I'll go to google or just get my own server name. That simple.

Ads pointing to phising sites
This is ridiculous that ads displayed in Yahoo! Mail are often links to phising or fraudulent web sites.
Phising site of the day:Why can't I report these somewhere???

SPAM
I believe Yahoo thinks that SPAM is effectively managed when placed in the user's Junk folder. That worked in the '80's with AOL. Now we KNOW that they are after much more than selling you a junk product/service. They are after viruses, profiles, personal data, behaviour, etc. etc. etc.
NOW we need to stop it at your servers - or give users ability to block the domain names they know are dangerous spam. Or Yahoo block the domains of spammers. Users will tell you who they are.
Don't give spammers the satisfaction of getting to the users box.

Yahoo email is unusable with all this ad spam. There is zero reason for not changing to Gmail.
I have already started to change all of my accounts to use my Gmail. It is impossible to get anything done in my Yahoo email with all of the spam about password protection and premium subscriptions when it offers literally nothing more than other FREE services that don't spam you. Until Yahoo offers literally ANYTHING more than the obviously superior choices out there I will not be using any Yahoo services from now on.

since my wife and children use G-Mail, I guess with your forced modifications, I too will eventually join them.

Leave my ******* email alone ! I'm sick and tired of being asked to unblock ads and jumping through hoops to get to my mail.
If i have to keep jumping through your ******* hoops to see my mail i'll just switch everything to Gmail !
