Fix bug in "Settings" for "Writing Email"
Please fix this bug in "Settings" for "Writing Email":
Under "Compose Window," I've always chosen "Full Sized (focus on the message you're writing)". But as of this week, every time I start composing a new message, it opens as a small overlay window, even though that's not the option I've selected in Settings. Filters not working
Why don't my filters work? (Deliver to "Trash" if From begins with "a@") and Deliver to "Trash" if From begins with "admin@*") ???

Don't classify political emails as spam
You routinely classify political emails as spam. You are suppressing democracy when you do so -- even if there are people (usually of the opposite party) who may agree with your classification. I personally donate to several of the groups you classify as spam and your action is most definitely wrong.

Select all emails at once meeting search criteria
Allow us to select all emails at once meeting a specific search criteria. At this time, the system caps email selection at 50 emails, until you scroll down to the next batch.

Allow us to disable grouping of emails by day. There is no reason for me to see groupings and yet I can't disable this option or change it.

Please remove the date headers in inbox. I don't need to see headings for today, Tues, last week, earlier in Feb. etc. No one wants this - it clogs up the inbox with irrelevant information. There was a workaround where you could sort by unread to stop this behavior, but that seems to have disappeared

I would like to be able to mark an email so that it can't be deleted by accident
I want to mark an email so that it can't be deleted by accident. Even if it's included in a multiple selection, it will not delete until I release the hold on it.

Can you increase the limit of blocked email addresses?
Remove the limit on the number of blocked email addresses. or at least increase the limit to 5,000 or something like that. 1,000 is not enough with all the spam I get. Not sure why there is a limit at all. I've already reached my limit. I wish I could keep blocking the spam.

Stop Movining Items From My Inbox Into The Trash Without Me Doing So
For the past several weeks, mail that I have been saving in my inbox has disappeared. It seems to have been moved to the trash folder without my having done so. Stop this. I have lost important mail!!

Need option to minimize displayed info on tab
Somebody decided we need a lot more information in the main tab than we really need.
(No new email) - me@someplace.com
In my typical # of tabs all I see is "(N" and is very annoying.
I'd like to see just the # of new emails -- e.g. 0,1,2,3,4....-- I don't need to know anything more than that.101st ranked -
Return to From Whence I Came
A SEARCH of CONTACTS produces a list of matching CONTACTS. After I look at one of those found CONTACTS the RETURN ARROW <-- takes me back to the top of all Contacts. It would be more helpful for me to RETURN to the list of matching CONTACTS and from there I could choose another CONTACT to look at or RETURN another level from whence I came.

move spam to spam folder not trash
FILTER SPAM TO MOVE TO SPAM FOLDER, AS AN OPTION. THE ONLY CURRENT OPTION IS TRASH. IF IN THE TRASH, THEY STILL GET THROUGH AND CAN HACK YOUR COMPUTER. SPAM IS SPAM!!!

Create the ability to block a spam email sender, based on username only (independent of domain) to clean up SPAM folder.
I get a ton of emails from specific usernames, who use a random domain name. These correctly get routed to SPAM by Yahoo, but it fills up the SPAM folder--making it harder to peruse that folder for valid emails which incorrectly get routed there. Blocking by specific username@domain name and by the domain name only doesn't work, since domain changes every time these SPAM emails are generated. Setting up a filter on username only (without domain) to route to trash doesn't work either because filters don't work on emails that Yahoo thinks are SPAM and routes to that folder.

Change basic tab bar back to dark gray from light gray!
My text on the tabs is white. I can barely read it against light gray tabs. Stop changing things for the sake of change. If you want to justify your existence, go see a therapist!

put the original design of e-mail back on my e-mail - hate hate this new type we should have a choice I pay for it
Remove this new "cluster" type of e-mail it is full of errors and causes trouble and is Frustrating !

make the message area larger, reduce size of headers out side actual messages
it a message app. the headers and area above messages are way to big, take up most of the screen. Reduce the size of them. really hard to read on smaller devices.

FIX SPAM FILTER
I WISH YOU WOULD JUST TURN SPAM FILTERING OFF. IT TRAPS THE GOOD ONES AND LETS THE BAD ONES THROUGH!! i spend too much time looking through the spam filter to find the good mail im not getting. what a waste.
