5. Do not make email address the unchangeable user name

   My account user name turns out to be an email account that I closed years ago. Now I can't delete the email address that I no longer have access to because Yahoo made it my unchangeable account user name. Did it not occur to Yahoo that people need to change email address for reasons like no longer owning that email address?

6. Yahoo flagging suspicious activity when there isn't any

   3 days in a row yahoo isn't letting me log in because of suspicious activity detected by Yahoo, yet there is absolutely nothing suspicious logged in activity. It's getting old logging into a different email just to get a login code for yahoo mail.

   Whats the point of 2 Factor Authentication when you can just bypass it by using sms or email verification instead? The user can just select "sign in another way" and choose email or phone number. Less secure.

9. Yahoo needs better way of Verification... I can't use Yahoo during an emergency (airport, library, etc)

   Yahoo mail has gotten atrocious over the years. I used this for 15-20 years no problem. WTF I try to use a stranger's phone to access my email for my boarding pass because my phone died 10 minutes before takeoff. (Check if you aren't a robot... then Yahoo proceeded and not able to verify me...) Add stuff like public records, DOB, phone, or something that can be verified online... Same **** with Gmail. Can't access that in an emergency. How the **** can I be sure I can have email access if I no longer have my previous devices (ex destroyed by storm flooding, phone dropped in the ocean, or worse off stolen)?

   The agent I spoke to on the phone didn't make any sense. She was like... oh you can blah blah blah cant use Yahoo unless you are on your usual devices. Come on. No **** sherlock. **** developers need to do a better ******* job of not locking their clients out... talk about better security my ***.

I have the screenshot showing what the person did. I suspect at the time I reported it to your customer service person, that person or team cloaked the situation or took money to be illegal.     Why do you have to make the whole process of accessing emails from a 3rd party client so annoying? Please don't give us some rubbish about security you have it all the way up my wazoo. How about trying to attract new customers with your own third-party app with features that work and make life simple? In this day and age, people need more than one address your attitude does you no favors and makes life very complicated. I just hate all your products out of principle why not change your business modus operandi and actually make things that help people on a day-to-day basis without forcing us to choose you? I don't want to be forced I want to choose because I believe that the product should benefit me. Yours does not. Why not change my mind by making something better than Microsoft to use...Please I would love to be a happy chappy by using something better and I think you can do it.

15. Outlook Connectivity is very subpar

    A year ago I paid 80.00 to have my outlook connected to Yahoo Email. And it got disconnected 3 months ago. I called Tech Support and they said that the connectivity feature to Generate an App feature is no longer available. Which means 1) The tech support folks should have told me how to do this to begin with. and 2) I should get my money back since this feature is no longer available. 3) they said they are trying to fix it..... Well how long does it take to fix something that was once previously available??? Not Good. Not good at all..... Bill
