Yahoo locked me out of my email and charged me to get back in!!
Due to Yahoo locking me out of my email account, they wouldn't help me until I paid for the subscription to Yahoo Premium Service. then it was miraculously fixed in about 2 minutes. i was unfairly coerced into paying to get into my email account when I never signed out of it!!
The first time it asked me to change my password (which I did), to get back in. this worked. then within 24 hours, it locked me out again!!!
Now it wouldn't allow me to change it again. I was later told it was because I did NOT have…272nd ranked -

Two Factor Authentication Setup Failed
I scan the QR code into Google Authenticator. It creates a new rotating code. I enter that code exactly and it fails. Rinse and repeat confirming each time the generated code is entered accurately. But it fails every time.
It's it's this bad during setup, how can I have any faith it's going to work once it's enabled?

Fix 2-step verification with authenticator app
I tried turning on 2-step verification with the auth app, it did not accept any of the 6 digit codes. This option is completely busted.

Two factor autentication for account setttings, but not when I am accessing email.
I don't use the yahoo app and your two factor authentication requires me to verify in the app. I would like to enable two factor authentication to protect my account settings separate from email access. Furthermore I want the two factor code to be sent to my phone as a text message rather than the yahoo app.

SPAM! Can Yahoo educate it's Spam filter to stop erroneous emails
SPAM! Can Yahoo educate it's Spam filter to stop erroneous emails coming through. Here are some ideas to "block" spam
1) Crazy subject lines pretending to be Amazon, Kohl's
2) Monitor inbound IP addresses. Quarantine foreign IP addresses that look spam like or Phishing Like.
3) Scan the embedded URL links. If they look phishy...BLOCK THEM
4) Gmail has failed to check fake users and fake accounts. So much junk mail is coming in from gmail. They should introduce 2-3 step verification to weed out the fake accounts looking to phish around. Bad on them!
5) If I have delete…

I find it to be absolutely ridiculous that you have to pay someone to update your password if you lose access to your phone number.
I had the two factor authentication set up but I'd lost access to my phone number I'd set it up with. I did not know that that meant I'd have to pay a ridiculous fee to have help with it. I would've done it myself because I do have access to the other email I used but it wouldn't let me reset the password on my own. It sent me to this free article section (which is full of useless articles, none of which help you regain access to your account) or you had the option to call the paid…

Get your Locations a bit closer
Get locations closer to my location. I’m pretty sure my device was listed in wrong city but my network or device was correct device #. I’ve been changing password every single time but wouldn’t have to if you could get your locations right. The one listed was/is nearly 200+ miles away.
