  1. Either fix the app password generator or eliminate the feature from the account security interface

    The app password generator is essential to access Yahoo email from Microsoft Outlook. But the app password generator has been non-functional for months. The Yahoo account security web interface should reflect this, and stop giving false hope to myself and other Outlook users.

  8. App Password is not a 'feature', it is a neccessity. Please get it working.

    When will the App Password 'feature' be working again?
    I have several IOT devices that send email alerts and none of them will work since they all use just a user name and password.
    It is ridiculous that app passwords cannot be generated for Yahoo mail.

  13. Unable to generate an app password so can't access my email on my desktop at work as yahoo is blocked by admin to prevent searches other tha

    I am unable to access my Yahoo account at work as admin have blocked the site and we can only search using Norton. Since I am a sub-contractor and need access to my Yahoo account they have given permission for me to use Outlook but I am unable to sign in without an app password but the option on my mobile device and home PC is showing as unavailable.

    Is there an alternative way I can sign in to my account using Outlook without a generated app password?

  19. FIX APP PASSWORD GENERATOR - ASAP!!!!!!!

    Can't use my Yahoo-Mail account in Outlook anymore!!!!!! That's a huge and critical problem. As I can see are there already uncountable requests to you, to get this severe problem fixed!!!

  20. Generate app password, feature is not working, when it will be fixed...

    I have been trying to generate an app password for Outlook Desktop but there is no drop down for apps and when I manually enter Outlook Desktop I get the message:

    Sorry, this feature is not available at present.

    This is fine but I have been trying now for 2 days and still no joy.
