  2. Go Back to old format

    Even getting AT&T fiber optic can not get the yahoo finance to load any faster. So sick of waiting minutes and minutes for the pages to load. This has been terrible since this new format started a year or so ago!!!!!!!

  3. Default sort of holdings should be the order in which they were entered

    The add symbol function does not behave consistently. Each month, I remove all the entries and replace them with an ordered, current list of holdings. It is usually around 100 entries. The dialog, regrettably, is limited to five symbols at a time. That is bad enough (and much more time consuming than the classic finance interface which could import more than 100 symbols nearly instantly), but the order of entry is lost because the interface sometimes, apparently, remembers the prior five (or ten) when five new ones are submitted. Most of the time, it responds with "five symbols added successfully."…

  4. Time Stamping The News

    This is how the Portfolio News are time stamped: 2 hours ago, 7 hours ago, 14 hours ago, etc.

    I believe Accurate Time Stamp of the news is a much better way, and less confusing: 8:27am, 11:04am, 2:15pm, etc.

    Also, reduction of the height of each news causes more news to fit in one page. It’s one less click and better.

  5. Allow adding new stock transactions to portfolios

    For several weeks now it has been impossible to add new transactions to a portfolio. Because of that, all the statistics on affected stocks become meaningless. So the portfolio is almost useless except for seeing price changes. How can that be at all acceptable?

    If on YAHOO FINANCE ADVANCED CHARTS the indicator "VOL UNDER" is an integer, why four decimal digits? It only turns it unreadable.

  12. Lookup search trade volume column

    When you look for a symbol in the Quote Lookup box to the right and then click on 'Show all results for ...' you get a result page in a table, but it's often difficult to pick the most useful result because it's the same company on a number of different exchanges. It would be easier to find what I'm looking for with a sortable column for trade volume - or some similar measure.

  13. Enter a Dollar amount Weekly

    With fractional shares being a thing and being able to set up automatic investments you should be able to enter a dollar amount that gets converted to shares. You should also be able to set up a transaction to be weekly to help users automate this.

  14. Option to turn-off video pop up window once and completely

    When I open any news on Y!Finance page it shows me videoplayer first then the text. When I'm scrolling down the video pop up in the right lower corner opens. With a large X to close. If I close it and scroll down, it will appear again and again and again. That's too annoying. No option to turn OFF the video completely or the popup player completely for all the pages once and forever. Fix it, please!

  16. Portfolio listing keeps REORDERING my Portfolios.

    1/29/25 I really dont feel like spending a couple hours puting back my portfolio to its original order. Seriously! What in the world? Very hard day.
    I did nothing and it reordered on its own, also if you use a coloumn to sort it sticks. I was able to get the order back before because I had another view open, reordered one ticker and it restored. Not today. Very very hard day, messes everything up. Please restore order to yesterday.

  19. are you adding new reinvested dividends to prior existing shares?? The total new shares are wrong

    The shares at the beginning of the year were a certain amount and now you changed those shares to a new number, and it is not the correct number of shares as just adding the dividend reinvested shares plus the original beginning of the year shares. It is like you added an estimated dividend share amount

  20. Make prompt screen asking if it's a new lot and offering to add it automatically optional

    When I adjust an existing entry in my portfolio, I'm getting prompt screen asking if it's a new lot and offering to add it automatically.
    This does not make sense, b/c if I would like to add new lot - there is the button for it.
    If I edit an existing entry - this means I want to adjust it, and that pop-up message is unnecessary.
    Please make it at least optional, please!
