BE ABLE TO MOVE ANY EMAIL TO INBOX
You can no longer move an email back to inbox...............please fix.
Hi Michael, can you please send us a video of what is happening? Or how it's not working? We tried replicating and we could move the email back to inbox.. are you moving from another folder? Trash? all emails gone
all emails were deleted when i opened my inbox today i last opened in 2025, all emails were vanished without any information ,how can i restore them

Stop changing the wording of emails I receive
I have toggled OFF the AI summary, but the wording of emails I receive is still being changed to summarize the content. I do not want this.

block illegitimate email
Yahoo needs to block emails that fail authentication checks for legitimate email.
Auth Results: SPF=fail DKIM=unknown DMARC=unknown
The above example should never be allowed to hit my inbox. Fix it or I'm leaving you. -
new emails go into 'unread' rather than 'inbox'
I don't like that most new emails go into 'unread' and only some go into 'inbox'. Seems it would make sense for all new emails to first show up as 'inbox' and I can move them to 'unread' if I choose. It would be helpful to double space between each date to better identify new mail.

HOW MANY UNREAD MESSAGES?
NOT a fan of this (unrequested) change. AT all. Immediately can't see how many UNREAD emails I have. Just to begin with. It's really not that easy. God, after all these years, do have to find another platform? Or just switch to GMAIL? God! No thanks!

Not GETTING MY EMAILS
I just found out that after over 25 years of using my yahoo account my email is full in fact over 128% over. I decided to pay the $5 a month. I still have no emails for nearly a month. I need to get my **** from today.

I search for one topic and the tab in the bubble at the top repeated that search 20 times!!
I love the multi tab option, as I often go back to previous emails, but when I search the "tabs" (really bubbles) for one search seem to multiply...20 copies of one!! This makes it hard to see other tabs. Please fix.

Sort Inbox by Sender name
In the last version of Yahoo Mail, I could sort my Inbox by Sender Name, and it alphabetized the list of emails in my Inbox. That helped me easily delete the scams and stuff I wasn't interested -- especially the ads that pile up. I selected. Now that feature's gone, and I'm about ready to scream! Why do you tech people always think when you change something, you're actually making it more user friendly? We don't all think like you.

Don't delete people's email!
All my email, some of it over 25 years old and very personal has been deleted. ALL email is gone. I think if you want to improve you could start by letting your customer's decide for themselves which email they want to delete.
You could also improve by giving me back my email!If your account has had no activity for 365 days, then the account is deactivated. We communicate this a few times which includes sending you an email to your alternative email account, so make sure that is updated. If you need help reinstating, contact our CC team at help.yahoo.com. They have the tools to help with these issues. Hope this helps!

Sort by Email Size
Please add a feature that will sort emails by size. This will allow people to review and delete the emails taking up the most space quickly. Thank you.
We do have this as a sorting option except we don't call it "Sort by Size" but instead "Largest First." So you can click on that as a sorting option and the biggest emails that are the issue with storage limitations is the ones that should be reviewed first and then deleted. Thanks!

Mailbox for subscriptions
Gmail has it where you can see your subscriptions, it would be nice to have this option in yahoo as well. It will be easier to get rid or unsubscribe from them.

Snooze button
A button that can snooze an email til a later time or date. Email would go into a Snoozed folder, but show back up in the inbox at the designated time. Snoozed folder could be accessed just like any other folder for changes or switches.
Hi Coop Cooper, we did try this feature already and it didn't do so well. Very low usage and retention, therefore we decided not to add this. Thank you for the suggestion!

We encourage you to read at the top of the Uservoice header (forum). There we provide What’s New, Coming Soon and some Tips. There we mention how to disable Inbox Categories: All, Priority, etc. Definitely read those as we update them with useful information. Thanks.

Emails are all in my trash folder
All of my emails since last June are winding up in my trash folder without me putting them there. This is very concerning to me.
Hi Joan, thank you for letting us know!! If all your emails are going to the Trash folder, this might be an indication that your account was compromised. Inbox issues
New Inbox design does not show # of unread email as it does for folders like older version. Inbox unread/read coloring is NOT easy to notice.
Moving emails between folders or back is not as smooth as older version. Have to attempt 3 or 4 times & multiple ways before it works.
Prefer older version but NO WAY to go back to it now.
