Sort Inbox by Sender name
In the last version of Yahoo Mail, I could sort my Inbox by Sender Name, and it alphabetized the list of emails in my Inbox. That helped me easily delete the scams and stuff I wasn't interested -- especially the ads that pile up. I selected. Now that feature's gone, and I'm about ready to scream! Why do you tech people always think when you change something, you're actually making it more user friendly? We don't all think like you.

Don't delete people's email!
All my email, some of it over 25 years old and very personal has been deleted. ALL email is gone. I think if you want to improve you could start by letting your customer's decide for themselves which email they want to delete.
You could also improve by giving me back my email!If your account has had no activity for 365 days, then the account is deactivated. We communicate this a few times which includes sending you an email to your alternative email account, so make sure that is updated. If you need help reinstating, contact our CC team at help.yahoo.com. They have the tools to help with these issues. Hope this helps!

Sort by Email Size
Please add a feature that will sort emails by size. This will allow people to review and delete the emails taking up the most space quickly. Thank you.
We do have this as a sorting option except we don't call it "Sort by Size" but instead "Largest First." So you can click on that as a sorting option and the biggest emails that are the issue with storage limitations is the ones that should be reviewed first and then deleted. Thanks!

Mailbox for subscriptions
Gmail has it where you can see your subscriptions, it would be nice to have this option in yahoo as well. It will be easier to get rid or unsubscribe from them.

Snooze button
A button that can snooze an email til a later time or date. Email would go into a Snoozed folder, but show back up in the inbox at the designated time. Snoozed folder could be accessed just like any other folder for changes or switches.
Hi Coop Cooper, we did try this feature already and it didn't do so well. Very low usage and retention, therefore we decided not to add this. Thank you for the suggestion!

Emails are all in my trash folder
All of my emails since last June are winding up in my trash folder without me putting them there. This is very concerning to me.
Hi Joan, thank you for letting us know!! If all your emails are going to the Trash folder, this might be an indication that your account was compromised. We recommend changing your password immediately and then checking your Filters under your Desktop Settings. If you continue to have issues, please contact our CC team at help.yahoo.com. Inbox issues
New Inbox design does not show # of unread email as it does for folders like older version. Inbox unread/read coloring is NOT easy to notice.
Moving emails between folders or back is not as smooth as older version. Have to attempt 3 or 4 times & multiple ways before it works.
Prefer older version but NO WAY to go back to it now.

Default e-mail classification to be ALL
Provide a configurable option, so I can select ALL emails to be seen upon entering the email and onwards. Current set of of PRIORITY causing me high overhead to constantly switch from PRIORITY to ALL, and I do not read AI heading (AI is very poor quality anyway) .

Need a way to move messages to "Primary" inbox in new Yahoo Mail
Why can I not set up messages to go to my Primary inbox instead of one of the others that I did not even get to set up? Messages from people and organizations I follow end up in one of the other useless categories. In this day, you should be able to set it up to have them go to the category you want. Google does it, geez, even Hotmail does it. Please work on giving us a way to do this.
Hi Chip, currently you cannot set up emails to go to a particular category, but you can move emails to other categories. Just click on the "Move" icon and from there you can choose another category or even a folder.
You can also disable Inbox Categories under your Settings and go back to having just one Inbox. Hope this helps!

Stop hiding my folders. Stop making accessing my folders a hassle.
Leave my folders alone. I make them because I want mail sorted specifically, but when you keep rolling them up into a Folder icon, not allowing me to keep them expanded - it hides the important mail that went to designated folders.
I don't want to have to go to youtube to watch a 10 minute video of somebody with a harsh accent tell me some workaround. I want you guys to quit sabatoging our customization options.

The tab button auto send is the dumbest yet
Why the **** would anybody want the tab button to automatically send???!!!!!!! This has been a n issuee for years now. How does this not get noticed???

bring back scrolling through an incoming email using the up and down arrows
Scrolling up and down using up and down arrows inside an incoming email in my mailbox is no longer available, please bring this feature back, it worked fine in the old email. I can only scroll through an incoming email by using the bar on the far right of an email. I cannot find any settings in the new Yahoo email to fix this. Is there a solution to this?

Delete all email in non-priority tabs
My email is telling me I'm over the storage limit but you don't give me an easy way to delete all emails in my socials, offers and newsletters tabs. I just want to be able to delete everything in these tabs and right now I can only do that 100 at a time. I have had my yahoo mail account for many years so deleting them 100 at a time will take forever. This feels like a ploy to force me to upgrade to paid storage for a bunch of email I don't want or need. How about an AI…

Yahoo email needs the capability to present the Inbox (or any folder) sorted alphabetically by 'From' - it used to be there. Also woud be good to display multiple columns: Date/ Time, From, Subject, Size. It used to be therel also.
