Marking emails as read
Hi! In the old Yahoo mail, there was a way to click on a blue circle (I think) to mark an email as read without having to open that up. Is this possible in the new mail?

Can't MOVE my email out of span
Don't like YAHOO deciding what is priority mail. I am a HUMAN BEING and can decide for myself.
I can't MOVE emails that are NOT spam out of spam. The button is BROKEN. Has DOGE been messing around in our emails?

what do you want in this box?
how about having functions that actually work? like being able to mark something as not spam and being able to muve it from spam to the inbox. there appears to be no way to move something to the inbox these functions don't work. I liked the old yahoo email not this one. this is to hard to use. takes to many clicks to get what you want I can't even get the idea to post why is that?

stop spam
Why can't you stop this recent (past few months) onslaught of obvious spam? Multiple times a week identical spams come in bunches of 3 or 4. They always have a variety of random icons in the subject line and other places. On 6/13 I got 3 like this: ❉♚♞ Confirmation Needed: Your Omaha Steaks Reward ❉♚♞. It is SO OBVIOUS these are spam e-mails. I can't create a filter because the sender and subject are always different. In this day of AI, why can't you detect and block these OBVIOUS SPAM e-mails?

This new mail sucks. I can't figure out how to add a contact (very easy with old Yahoo mail). Also, there seems to be no way to default to all mail.

I was looking for a way to safelist/allow-list an email address that I always want in my primary inbox, but I am not able to find a way to do so.

Group email in inbox by date.
The old version grouped emails in inbox by date. No, I don't mean list sorting. I mean each date has a date header, and emails for that date are underneath it. It provides a clear visual separation for all emails from that date. For example I can quickly glance at email subjects from today and be done, because I would know that I have already seen the ones from the day before. I am aware that dates are listed in the column to the right. I'm saying the new redesign is functionally a downgrade, it is not as well organized…

It is frustrating to have the email subject line cut off and then see only the beginning of the email.
I would much prefer seeing the email's Subject Line in Full.

Not recieving email
I'm trying to sign a contract via zoho sign and it's not coming through to my email.
The sales rep shows me from his tools that it should have been sent, but I don't see it in any folder, not even spam. I have verified 3 different times that my email is correct and the sales rep has triple checked that they have sent it.
How can I get my document to my yahoo account?
The tool is Zoho sign.

Mark as Unread option inside open email
We used to be able to mark an email as unread, while in the open email. There is no longer an option for that. Please add it back, thank you.

Sorting of email A->Z or Z->A
Would like to sort emails A->Z or Z->A. With the new email format, the storting is Newest first or oldest first, or read or unread.
Bring back the sorting of emails A->Z or Z->A. -
subject line preview
Please make the new subject line preview optional. I would like to see the original sender's subject line and not Yahoo's.

I do not like this new yahoo. How do I sort by sender? Internet has an incorrect answer. I used to be able to hover over the inbox and it would tell me how many emails I had. Can you bring that back?
