I’m requesting the multi-tab feature for Yahoo mail for browser.Please restore and bring back the multi-tab feature to Yahoo Mail for browsers.
It is a vital tool for productivity, and bringing it back would significantly enhance the user experience.

Just go to your Settings under "More" in the left hand navigation. Then click on Appearance > Toggle on Multi-tasking tabs.

Print email from an open email
You can do this, we didn't take this functionality away. When reading an email, you'll see icons on the top. Just tap on "..." (three dots) and there you'll see Print. Hope this helps.

You can still do multi-tasking tabs, you just need to enable it under your Settings. Just go to More > Settings > Appearance and toggle on Multi-tasking Tabs. Thanks.

Yes, you can disable AI features under your Settings.

Sort By Sender

You can still Sort by Sender, we haven't taken this ability away. Just like the old version, you need to disable Conversation view. Once you disable this you will see Sender name as a sorting option. Thanks.

Edit folders suddenly missing
Suddenly, the Folders I store emails in won't let me edit their names. Can no longer find the edit option.
You can expand the folders in the left hand column. Once you expand them by hovering your mouse on the edge, you'll see "..." (three dots) next to each folder by hovering your mouse again. There you can manage your folders, including renaming the folder.

Stop linking unrelated emails together
I am querying and all emails with the same subject: Query: *** get linked together. Now I have a massive email chain of potential literary agents and if they get the chain I look like an idiot! this is a huge no no in the industry. please help!
We will share this with our team, but in the meantime, you can disable Conversation view and just go to Individual view under your Settings.

Add Snooze Capacity in Yahoo New Mail

I hope you are doing well.
I am a fairly new Yahoo New Mail user. Generally, I enjoy and appreciate it, especially since 1. it is free and 2. doesn't sell users' information whether we consent or not, as Google/Gmail does.
I export most Gmail messages to my Yahoo New Mail account with Thunderbird. Unfortunately, neither Thunderbird nor Yahoo allow users to Snooze messages.
This means I need to use Mailbird, yet another email manager, in order to snooze certain emails. This wastes space on my laptop, which has a total of less than 60 GB.

Thanks Nicole! We really appreciate the feedback and suggestion. We did try "snooze" in the past and it didn't do so well with our users, as in, not many users used the feature. Therefore, we decided not to launch it. We will certainly share this with our team again as habits and use cases change. Thanks again!

put the contacts quick link button back
I need to add a contact from someone who has not yet emailed me. There is no way to do that with the current format.
Hi there, you can still add Contacts manually. Looking at your Inbox, you'll see the Contacts icon on the right hand side. Near the right hand rail ad. There you'll see the Calendar icon, Starred Icon and Contacts icon. Thanks.

Show where my photos file is!
There is no icon or folder indicating my photos in this new Yahoo Mail. Where are they?
Hi Bob, you can see all emails with photos under the advanced search icon. Looking at your Inbox, go to the icon next to the search box. There you can search all emails with photos. Thanks.

Inbox is too busy
The New Yahoo Mail is awful and I will be giving feedback regularly until you either allow me to have the old version or you fix how cluttered and terrible it looks. I only want to see the sender and the subject line, I do NOT want to see any of the body of the email in my inbox. It is currently too cluttered and looks terrible. Starred view optional.
Allow to disable the Starred view. It is annoying and useless if I do not want to see those starred messages. This should be optional.
Correct, it is out of the way and not in the way of checking your emails. We currently are not planning on moving this away. Thanks.

Deleting emails.
why do you have to delete each email one by one. that takes so much time. I like it simple. The old yahoo you could select the weeks or days box and delete all with one click. no you have to click each email and then delete
You can still bulk delete or even select all/delete all. Just tap on any checkbox and you'll see a new checkbox appear at the top. From there you can bulk delete or select all/delete all. Thanks.

Filter by Folder
The previous interface had a way to filter/search by folder (e.g., see all emails from sender X in Inbox) which was very helpful. I don't see where that is an option in this new view.
You can still sort by sender in this version. That has not changed and is exactly like the old version. Once you disable Conversation view, you will see Sender Name as a sorting option.

inbox suggestions
Previously i could quickly see all my inboxes at a glance and the amount of unread messages of each inbox, why was that taken away. Now i have to hover that box at the bottom to even see my inboxes period. if one was not diligent in noticing the very small number placed next to the inbox you could very easily miss unread emails awaiting your attention. Also why would you take away the option to keep it the same as it has been for ever. its very disappointing to log into something you have used for years to discover…
Hey John, you can expand the left hand column. Just hover your mouse on the edge of the column and Inbox, Two arrows will appear and you can then expand the column. Then you'll see your Folders and Unread folder (even number) without hovering. Thanks.

Confusing and NOT User Friendly!
Your new Yahoo Mail layout is confusing and NOT user friendly! It is in no way an improvement on the old layout of Yahoo Mail. I would love to be able to revert to the old layout or the "basic mail" layout but I can find no way to do that. There is an old saying: "If it is not broken, don't fix it." Yahoo Mail was not broken and you fixed it. Now it is SERIOUSLY broken!
We have heard that old saying, but we didn't fix anything. We simply launched a new design. All functionality is still the same. Unfortunately, there is no reverting back. Very sorry! We are only enhancing the new experience. We hope you give the new layout a fair chance. Thanks so much!

I can't middle click emails to open them in new tabs anymore
Let me middle click an email header to open an email in a new tab or at least have a new tab option in the rightclick context menu
Hi Joseph, thanks for the email. Yes, we don't have the right click to open a new tab, but we still have this feature. You just need to enable it under your Settings. Just go to More > Settings > Appearance > Multi-tasking tabs.

How do I find the settings icon on my Yahoo e-mail on my desktop computer? I need to edit my filters because e-mails are automatically going to my trash box ever since my account was compromised 2 weeks ago
Hi Chris, you can find Settings by going to More (left hand column when looking at your Inbox).
More > Settings > Filters. Hope this helps!
