Notification Prompt Irritant
Stop the "notification" popup! It appears several times a day when I'm checking mail. Checking "Maybe Later" doesn't cut it. I already get a notification on my phone, I DO NOT NEED A DESKTOP EMAIL NOTIFICATION!!! What an annoyance!

Allow users to sort inbox by sender.
This allows user to delete, in bulk, emails that are not wanted.
Hi James, thanks for your feedback. Yes, we do have sort by sender still, but just like the old version, you need to disable Conversation view. You cannot sort by sender when that is enabled. Once you disable that under Settings, you will see "Senders Name" as a sorting option.

You have a dating ad that comes up on my email
no unsubscribe button, tried blocking it and it says not valid email address and invalid domain. I WANT THEM TO STOP
The best way to get rid of spam is to mark as spam, not delete or block! This helps with your spam filters and does exactly what blocking does, prevents that email from coming to your Inbox. So please keep marking as spam! It is free and part of regular Yahoo Mail. Thanks!

Get rid of "streaks"
This is a stupid idea. If you are going to do it, at least offer the choice to opt out.
Hi Janell, we do offer the ability to opt out of Streaks. Just go to your left hand column. "..." (three dots) and then Your Streaks. Scroll to the bottom and toggle off. Thanks.

Stop jumping up and down while reviewing mail
I am about ready to leave Yahoo Mail due to the fact that I have a lot of traffic and when I am going up or down the list, it will spontaneously jump, especially down, causing me to lose track of where I am and have to take time to rediscover my position in the list. Very frustrating and should not ever happen. Please get rid of it.
I'm totally tired of the all-white page. What happened to the themes that used to be options? I really enjoyed knowing that when the screen was brown or blue, I was in…
Hi Clarence, thank you for your feedback. We have seen a few reports on the scrolling and jumpy issue, but we have yet to replicate. Can you please send us your browser, browser version and a screen recording of this happening? You can send to oasis.mail.feedback@yahooinc.com. Thanks!

Just keep it simple, at least have option to turn off new streaks thing
Hi Chad, yes you do not have to participate with Streaks and yes, we do have a way for you to disable. Just go to your left hand navigation. Tap on the "..." (three dots) and then Your Streaks. There you can find where to toggle off the feature. Thanks.

keep archive button on the button menu when viewing email
It's annoying archive is hidden behind an additional menu when I'm viewing an email as opposed to my inbox. I'd like it visible there or even better a customizable icon menu
Thanks Thomas! You're right, Archive is under the "..." (three dots) when you're in Message Read. We will share this with our team. But from the Inbox, if you click on a checkbox, the Archive icon does show up first. Thanks for your feedback.

Make it easier to find the attachment in an email.
I cant find where to download or open an attachment sent to me in a chain email. I can find it on my phone, but not via webmail.
Hi Cher, thank you for your feedback. Can you share screenshots of what you're seeing in chain emails? There should be a paperclip icon in the emails that have the attachment. And when you open that single email, you'll see three dots to the right side.

Hi Patricia, thank you for loving the GIFs. Yes, unfortunately we no longer support GIFs or Stationery because it had very very low usage. Therefore with low usage and high upkeep we made the decision to not support it any more. Very sorry!!

Email instead of names on inbos
Hello, old friend. To better distinguish legitimate emails from spam, I think it’s best to display the full email address instead of just names. If possible, it would also help to detect fake addresses with altered single character that mimic official ones.
Hi Luca, yes like the old version we give you the ability to see the full email address instead of just the sender's name. Looking at your Inbox, with your mouse, if you hover over the sender's name, it will show you the full email address. You can do this also, in the message read. Hope this helps!

Please give us a chance to go back to the old yahoo, or at least recover our notes in the notepad
The new Yahoo! Mail is horrible. I can't find my notes, the Help feature tells me to go to a place that does not exist, and I can't go back to the old Yahoo, not even to find my notes where they used to be. I understand the Notepad is going away, but removing it or making it impossible to retrieve is horrible! I absolutely HATE it! How about let us choose between the new and the old, at least until the Notepad is phased out? And now I need to sign in before posting. Yahoo is making things hard,…
Hi Denise, if you are seeing the new layout, Notepad will be in the your top, right hand side. Next to Starred and Contacts, and above the ad. Just click on More and you'll see Notepad. Please see screenshot!

Stop hiding the full email address
Latest version of yahoo mail hides the full email address, but this is inconvenient in at least two situations. 1. someone has 2+ email addresses (e.g. home and work) and you want to see which one you're sending to. 2. malicious emails. Scammers will often send emails that appear to be from someone you know, but are in fact a subtly different email address. I recently had that. I was able to spot the scammer because I noticed that their email address was wrong, but I wouldn't have been able to do this on the new yahoo mail.
Hi Finn, the sender's email address is just like the old version. From the Inbox, you can hover with your mouse over the sender's name and the email address will appear. The same thing when you open the email as well. Hover with your mouse. We are not hiding the email address. This was the same as the old version too. Thanks!

Allow me to block logos next to emails on the desktop version
Allow me to block logos next to emails on the desktop version, as is available in the mobile version. They clutter the appearance while adding nothing substantive.
If you have a way to remove logos that I can't find, please let me know.
Hi George, we haven't added that ability yet. You are right in that we have that setting in the mobile apps. We will share this with the right team and see if we can get that added. Thank you!
