bad sorting
The past few weeks my emails have getting sorted into the wrong folders, that I have had to check and move them to the correct ones I would like for this to be fixed.

when adding STAR to an email, please stop marking it for deletion
When I mark an email with a star, new mail also marks the check box so it can get deleted unintentionally. Please stop this. I star an email because it is important--not to mark it for deletion.

obscured selection boxes in yahoo mail
Not sure what to call the little graphics that cover the selection boxes in yahoo mail listing. You can see behind them by hovering over them but that means that if you select several emails you can only see the one you're hovering over to tell which are selected. I've accidently deleted many emails because I lost track of which were selected (which your yahoo mail then obscures) and click delete. I would like to be able to stop those graphics from obscuring the selection boxes for the entire email list not just the email I'm hovering over. Surely others…

Inbox receive
Hello Yahoo Support,
I am having a delivery problem with my Yahoo Mail account ([your Yahoo address here]).
Emails sent from my Outlook/Microsoft account ([your Outlook/Microsoft address here]) are not arriving in my Yahoo inbox — not in Spam, not in Trash, not anywhere.
I have tested the following:
The same email arrives successfully in my Gmail inbox.
My service provider can also receive the email.
There are no filters in my Yahoo Mail account that would block or redirect these emails.
My Microsoft account is working fine and sending emails normally.
This suggests that Yahoo’s servers may be blocking…

Spam filters not working as expected
I am not sure of the algorithm used for Spam filtering. I am sure that I dont have any filters enabled myself, but still few important mails unnecessarily get directed to spam folder and I am not sure how many as such I would have lost. The spam protection was really good few years before (before to 2021) and with latest upgrades of yahoo mail, I am seeing this issue.

Please add color labels for categories of messages
After all these years, I'm disappointed that Yahoo Mail still only offers the very limited visual cues of Starred and Unread as ways of making certain messages stand out in the Inbox or within Folders. It would be so helpful if we were able apply color labels to certain messages, such as to flag certain ones as urgent, backburner, work, private, etc. Ideally, we would be able to edit to define the category colors for our own needs. But even if we couldn't attach a name for each color, just being able to label certain messages blue, green, orange, etc.…

whitelist blacklist
you've screwed the pooch. You blacklisted my finance provider and there's no way to get it back. filters won't help, contacts won't help, you've screwed it up. I can't call and have you fix without calling and sending you money.
SO, create a clean, clear pathway to whitelisting a contact. -
Your email sorting Algorithms just don't learn.
I have been marking emails from one of my bank is 'not Spam' for eons, but your mail soring algorithms just don't seem to learn. everytime the mail from them lands up in 'spam' folder. Can you do something about it.

The first trip with yahoo is ruined mistakes with your forms that are not backed up? Just high on softwear. Bing is auto-massaged at my library,okay?

folders error
I have the new view on my app. I don't like it, as I usually go and look at "all" .
I delete whatevedr I do not need, but on the "offers" and "other" tabs, I still see the count that is ow vompletely irrelevant (i.e. includes all the deleted emails!) -
Automatic saving of contact info from email
Auto save contacts from emails received or sent. This was an old feature that was taken away a long time ago.

EMAIL ARE DISAPERAING
EMAILS FROM HORSESHOE.COM ARE DISAPEARING. i see them in the inbox, and they stay for a while. Then when I go back a few days later they dispaears. This is a recurring issue.

Need easy access to setup email filter while going through new emails in Inbox
When hovering over an email in the Inbox, I can take action to "Move", "Star", "Mark as Read", "Archive", "Search by Sender", "Search by Subject", "Mark as Spam" or "Block Sender".
It would be very helpful if Yahoo could add an option for "Creating Email Filter" in the same place that would automatically place future email with the same characteristics in certain subfolders. This would allow a quick Inbox decluster.
Right now the Email Filter feature is buried deep in the Settings page that is rather difficult to find.

moving message back to inbox
the drag and drop function doesn't always work.... I accidently moved a message and wanted to move it back to the inbox, but I couldn't drag and drop it... I had to quit the New email and return to the old Yahoo mail.. then find the message and move it back to the inbox, then go back to the New Yahoo mail format... You have a problem...

Now that I found my new folders and missing emails, let me decide what goes in them
Now that I'm finished complaining that my missing emails were being filed and I didn't know that...
I kind of like this setup, but emails are not going into the folders I would prefer they go into. I would like to make this determination, but there is no obvious way to do it.
Please add a feature that lets me determine what goes where. Again, AI is guessing and isn't doing it my way.
