WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  2. Filtering is fine, but by default, I want to see All, not Priority

    Filtering is fine, but by default, I want to see All, not Priority. How do I fix this? If I want priority, I can click on it later. I've missed important emails that your 'AI' nonsense put in another category.

  3. Improve security and prevent the fishing emails

    There are too many fishing emails. Some of them, even with Yahoo's name. Like this one: Update Required for Continued Email Access

  4. Delete the "Type" folders

    I do not need some dumb AI to decide for me which email goes where.

    Delete those unnecessary "Primary", "Offers", "Social", and "Newsletters" categories.

    Your broken system keeps putting important emails in the WRONG folder and every time I click "Inbox", it forcibly shoves me into "Primary" when I CLEARLY want the ALL box!

    I do not want your AI, I do not need your AI, your AI is a POISON to both my system and the world as a whole.

    STOP PUTTING AI IN EVERYTHING YOU BRAIN DEAD IDIOTS!!

  6. Please Stop With The Annoying 7 Day Inbox Challenges! (I Can't Get Rid of Them-HELP!)

    I accidently joined the 7 Day Yahoo Mail inbox challenge on the account I am logged into currently, and now I can't log out! There is a quick way, but you have to go to the Yahoo Mail prompt on the top left of the screen. Than you have about 10 seconds to log out as the challenge goes away before it loads back again Get rid of this NOW!

    spam emails and virus come in from people spam on yahoo email needs a spam button or remove button to send back to yahoo at once urgent virus come in yahoo email server needds to be cleaned

  8. Delete the priority inbox

    I don't like the priority inbox. I have to constantly switch to "all." Please allow an option to delete the priority inbox. It is an extra and annoying step.

  10. Show the email address instead of To:Me in the header

    At present the Yahoo Mail user interface shows the To: value as Me. This is not helpful as one of the several aliases may have been used. To see the correct and actual address I need to click on the Me to see the address which is a needless step like in many other places in the UI.
    This is a bug that needs to be fixed

    Hi Michael, can you please send us a video of what is happening? Or how it's not working? We tried replicating and we could move the email back to inbox.. are you moving from another folder?     all emails were deleted when i opened my inbox today i last opened in 2025, all emails were vanished without any information ,how can i restore them

  14. Stop changing the wording of emails I receive

    I have toggled OFF the AI summary, but the wording of emails I receive is still being changed to summarize the content. I do not want this.

    Yahoo needs to block emails that fail authentication checks for legitimate email.
    Auth Results: SPF=fail DKIM=unknown DMARC=unknown
    The above example should never be allowed to hit my inbox. Fix it or I'm leaving you.

  17. new emails go into 'unread' rather than 'inbox'

    I don't like that most new emails go into 'unread' and only some go into 'inbox'. Seems it would make sense for all new emails to first show up as 'inbox' and I can move them to 'unread' if I choose. It would be helpful to double space between each date to better identify new mail.

  18. HOW MANY UNREAD MESSAGES?

    NOT a fan of this (unrequested) change. AT all. Immediately can't see how many UNREAD emails I have. Just to begin with. It's really not that easy. God, after all these years, do have to find another platform? Or just switch to GMAIL? God! No thanks!

  19. Not GETTING MY EMAILS

    I just found out that after over 25 years of using my yahoo account my email is full in fact over 128% over. I decided to pay the $5 a month. I still have no emails for nearly a month. I need to get my **** from today.

  20. I search for one topic and the tab in the bubble at the top repeated that search 20 times!!

    I love the multi tab option, as I often go back to previous emails, but when I search the "tabs" (really bubbles) for one search seem to multiply...20 copies of one!! This makes it hard to see other tabs. Please fix.
