keep archive button on the button menu when viewing email
It's annoying archive is hidden behind an additional menu when I'm viewing an email as opposed to my inbox. I'd like it visible there or even better a customizable icon menu
Thanks Thomas! You're right, Archive is under the "..." (three dots) when you're in Message Read. We will share this with our team. But from the Inbox, if you click on a checkbox, the Archive icon does show up first. Thanks for your feedback.

Difficult to see new messages, Priority tab - I hate it
When new messages come into the Inbox on a laptop/desktop computer using a browser to access Yahoo Mail (and not a phone or tablet), it's difficult to differentiate between the messages being NEW vs. old ones still sitting in the inbox. The new messages aren't highlighted well enough or bold enough to make it clear they are not old messages. I've accidentally deleted new messages thinking they were old several times now. Frustrating! It would be a better idea to have new messages in the list of messages to be highlighted (perhaps with a yellow highlight background or something), so…
Hi J.M.A, thank you for your feedback!
- We will address your feedback on unread v read with the right team. The email should be bolded and a purple dot next to the email for Unreads.
- You can disable Priority or Inbox Categories all together under your Settings. Just make sure you toggle off "Inbox Categories."
Thanks!

HIGHLIGHT SELECTED EMAIL
HELLO!
In the current Yahoo Mail interface, the selected email is indicated only by a thin colored line, which can be difficult to notice. It would be very helpful if the entire row of the selected email could be highlighted with a more distinct color, making it easier to identify the currently open message.Thank you for considering this improvement!
Thank you, Ciprian for the feedback! We really appreciate your kindness. We will certainly share this with the right team, our design team. Thanks again!

Fix Yahoo Mail
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
This setting option does not / no longer exists
Yes, we introduced Inbox Categories to help organize your emails better, but we also understand that not everyone would need or want, therefore, you can disable it under your Settings and go back to having just one Inbox. Settings > Inbox Categories

Need scrollbar to scroll through emails to the right and left
When I open an email that requires scrolling left and right, the scroll bar doesn't appear at the bottom of the email. So only 3/4 of the email is visible. and I really need this.
Thank you
Hi Ahmad, the bottom scrollbar will show up when you scroll all the way down to the email. You can also read the full email by just swipe left/right on the top of your mouse or mousepad. We will share your feedback with the right team to have the scrollbar show at all times. Thanks!

Why does mail default to Primary? When I check my mail, I typically prefer All. Please create a feature in which the user can choose.
Why does mail default to Primary? When I check my mail, I typically prefer All. Please create a feature in which the user can choose.
Hi Michael, yes it defaults to "Primary." We haven't added the ability to default to "All." We will share this with our team.
You can though disable Inbox Categories under your Settings and go back to one Inbox. Thanks!

Switching Accounts
I HATE HATE this new layout. I used to be able to switch back and forth between personal and business emails, now I have to waste time logging out and logging back in... what a pain. and I don't like the appearance or layout. The old way was not good, but was MUCH better than this 'new look'.
Hi Laura, you do not have to sign out and sign back in to see each account. You will see all your accounts in the bottom, left hand side. Just hover with your mouse on the account and you'll see all your Mailboxes and can easily switch. Thanks!

allow a table format to sort emails
re-introduce the option to sort emails by recipient, etc. This is easier to bulk delete, find, etc.
Hi CJ, thanks for your feedback. You can sort by sender but you'll need to disable Conversation view under your Settings. You cannot sort by sender when you have this enabled. Once you disable Conversation view, you will see Sender first as sorting option. Thanks!

Put the E-mail back so it can be clicked on
The old version showed the E-mail address. Now it is gone and you have no idea where it is. You can only click on all, which in my case is several E-mail accounts totaling over 1000 E-mails. It doesn't show the account. With every improvement made so far it has been more complicated to navigate and use. What used to be one click is now 5. It wasn't broken so stop fixing it.
Hi Carol, correct we didn't fix anything. We haven't changed the functionality. We simply pushed a new design after many years of staying the same. Times change and that comes with a new modern design too!
You can still see the sender's email address. You do not have to open the email. Just hover over the Sender's name and the email address will show, this is exactly the same as the old version. You can do the same when you open the email, hover over the sender's name. Thanks!

Hi Mike, you can create a new folder or even edit the folder. Once you find your folders, hover over a folder and three dots will appear to the right of the folder. (...)
From there you can manage your folders. Thanks!

Change shortcut keys for delete
I really like using shortcut keys in yahoo mail but it's not perfect. My biggest issue is the use of backspace to delete mail. I often accidentally delete mail while I am typing because of this.
Yes, this has been reported a few times now and we have shared with the team. Thank you!! Stay tuned!

Turn off shortcuts in website version
Make it possible to disable keyboard shortcuts in the website version. Sometimes when I am writing an email all of a sudden shortcut mode kicks in and 10 commands have been executed with emails deleted etc. If people want to use shortcuts fine, but please provide an option to turn it off for normal users
Thanks for your feedback, Skid Resa. We will certainly share your feedback with the right team. Thank you!!

Sorting
It would be really great if we could sort email by subject. I really really miss that feature.
HI Amanda, you can still sort by subject. You can disable Inbox Categories under your Settings and go back to just one Inbox. Then you can see by subject. You can also sort by others things if you disable Conversation view. Hope this helps!

Sort by sender
Should be able to sort any folder by the sender (or the Sent folder by the recipient)
Hi Charlie, thanks for your feedback! You can still sort by sender like the old version. First you need to disable Conversation view. We cannot sort by sender when Conversation view is enabled. Once this is disabled you'll see Sort by Sender as a sorting option. Thanks!

There is a significant bug in Yahoo
Nina Stahl sent me an email on Apr 16. I don't see that email in my list of emails on the 16th but when I search for it I am able to find it. This has happened to me multiple times where emails do not show up in the inbox view but show up in search. Can you fix this?
One change you'll see is a new feature called Inbox Categories. So you'll see at the top of your Inbox, your emails are now organized in Categories. If you're not seeing all your emails, it might be because you're in the Priority tab. Please go to your "All" tab so you can see all your emails. Thanks.
