Buttons on top of viewing a message
Right now you have to click the three dots to see the Archive option. That should be one of the icon options always visable.

Message Title Font Size Too Large
With the list above and the message below, the area for the message's title takes up WAAAAAY to much space so there is hardly any space for the message content. This should be smaller by default. I was also hunting through the settings to see if there was a font size option to be more compact but I couldn't find one. I'm already on "compact" view in the appearance setting but that seems to only affect the list and not the message view below it.

“IMAP settings missing. Need agent.”
My Cox-migrated Yahoo account opens only the identity panel under Mailboxes.
There are no IMAP or SMTP server settings. The mailbox is partially provisioned
and IMAP is not enabled on the backend. Please re-provision or refresh the
account so IMAP/SMTP settings appear. -
Selection zone box
Make selection zone that's around the box where you select your email bigger and not just the box itself. When you're clicking on the emails to delete and don't EXACTLY hit the box, you end up opening the email. Then you have to go back and that slows down the email deletion process. This normally happens when you roll out something new. Thanks!

Flexibility
Do not take away functionality which we liked!!!!
I want my inbox in WHITE, not grey;
The messages need NO ICON for the sender, its a waste of space
The messages are too spaced out, I liked the full screen with many lines of text
I need to see the folder names on the LHS and be able to drag messages there
You can ADD choosing the typeface; choosing the colour of screen and of textGIVE US OWNERSHIP, and please, do not deny us the chance to return to the previous version which we might prefer, I DO !!!

Interface flaws
I've been using the new mail for a while now and I like it, however there are few annoying issues:
1) I'm using the compact view, which I think it was selected the first time I switched to the new email.
However I don't see I could change this in case I wanted to try other view. In settings I don't see a way to change it2) I've selected in the setting to not load the images automatically, but they are still loaded anyway.

Accept Invitations
I never get the notices that I have been invited to a group after owners set them at my request.. Why is that? If yahoo blocks them then why not give that control to the individual to accept or deny

A few usability suggestions
Great new design, I like it. There are a few things that I think could be improved:
Ads look the same as new emails so its hard to see how many emails you haven't checked - good for ads click through, not so great for user experience.
The inbox icon doesn't show the number of unread emails which is a bit odd.
The inbox default to Priority not All even if you haven't set the priority emails.

Mailboxes selector should be at the top
Can you Please move the mailboxes icon above the 'new message' icon or inbox icon - it makes it much more easier to switch between different mailboxes without me wasting time scrolling down for it.

the mailboxes should be able to show like folders
the folders option down the left is collapsable and openable so they all constantly show or not,
this should be the same for the mailboxes rather than it now being hidden away at the bottom and having to click it to see if any emails are in each inbox -
Stop randomly scrolling through the email list
When I am scrolling my inbox, or other folders, the list randomly scrolls several screens, usually in the opposite direction that I am scrolling with my mouse. When I close an email, the list immediately scrolls away from where it was when I opened the email. This makes it very difficult to use Yahoo! Mail. I am unable to scroll through recent emails to find anything because the list keeps shifting away from the current location. Restore the ability to move folders that have sub-folders
I organise my holidays in folders. Each holiday has sub folders for flights\hotels etc. Once the holiday is done I want to move the whole folder to "Past Trips". I used to be able to do this but no longer can.
Here's what I have to do.
Create a new folder in past trips with a dummy name.
Move each subfolder in the current trip to the new dummy folder.
Move any mails in the main current trip folder to the new dummy folder.
Delete the original folder.
Rename the dummy folder the the name of the trip.I used…

Functionality of scrolling through mail
Scrolling through mail is maddening. I can't see mail and scroll through titles of mail, it's not intuitive at all. I can't intuitively change the view of my main interface. I can scroll through the side menus. I can't scroll through the titles unless I use arrows. Trying to find the scroll bar for my main email is so frustrating I can't begin to describe it. Navigating this page is just not worth using yahoo anymore.

Split Screen Formatting
This is a feature that was recently removed, and I'm not sure why. When you have your inbox in split-screen mode, where your inbox is displayed side-by-side with the currently selected message, the selected message being displayed should format the text of the message to fit the current window size. Currently, if you decrease the size of the display window and make it narrower, the text does not format to still fit on the display. Pop Up is Annoying
When I make an action (file, delete, spam), the pop up not only lasts for like 5 SECONDS, but also just happens to sit on top of the actions menu. WHYYY???

Very slow response
When load the yahoo mail first time, Inbox loads instantly and response is Ok. If i leave the page idle and try to access after some time page feels like freezing or very slow response to select / open.

Stop popping up the 'click to save it for later'
It hangs my browser. I click the up arrow to go to the next email, and that thing pops up . I can't do anything until I hit the x on it every time.
I'm just trying to hit the up arrow a few times to read my emails and now I have to go click the x every single time. -
BUG: Folder menu floating offset in Safari browser
I am using Safari browser Version 18.6 (18621.3.11.19.1, 18621) on a MacBook M1 Pro running Ventura 13.7.8 (22H730).
I drag and drop messages from my inbox into folders to stay organized. Recently, when dragging messages to the "Folders" icon on Safari, the subfolders popup menu that appears on hover is too far above the Folders button. The subfolders menu disappears as soon as I exit the Folders button hover area because the submenu is too far away. For now, I'm using the expanded left sidebar to avoid this.
This popup menu offset issue does not occur on Chrome browser.
