Elongated Email
FIX YOUR ****
I am trying to reply but for some reason the email has been extended horizontally and now the "reply" and "expand" button are all the way off to the right in the elongated center of the email, rather than in it's regular position.who the **** keeps changing **** and thinking it's a god idea. sir, because we know it's a man, cause a woman would never. How to logout of Yahoo! Mail?
There used to be a way to logout of Yahoo! Mail. But I now can't find it. What is the solution?

Having emails broken up by date is helpful when trying to locate a relevant email. Yes, it is ordered by date in the inbox, but not being able to see where yesterday, last week, and last month emails start makes it very difficult when doing a visual search because you cannot search using the correct key word or recall the sender - only roughly when it was sent. Please bring back the time periods (today, yesterday, last week, last month, last year, etc.).

Bring back the log out on mail screen
I go into mail first thing. I can no longer log off from the new Yahoo mail screen. If I select going to any other option a new tab is opened which I do not want. I will have to go back to the old Yahoo mail.

Where's the empty spam or trash folder buttons now? I keep clicking and its not showing up.

Show ALL emails until moved into specific folders. I have lost all of my inbox emails.

Keep Folder Tree Visible in Sidebar
Yahoo mail used to allow keeping the folder tree visible on the left sidebar when looking at the inbox, that feature has disappeared. This makes it a hassle to manage keeping emails in folders and going back to access them. The feature for adding subfolders is now buried and also more of a hassle. Please put these back to the way they were!!

better ability to check storage
i click on the link that YOU sent on June 24 to check my storage amount, and now that screen doesnt show it! I feel like you are being tricky to backdoor us into upgrading. I totally agree that we as consumers can delete unnecessary emails to release your server's burden, but let us play along. Please send me a new functional link of HOW I can see the GB number. You allow 20GB before billing us , and i have about 9 GB. Thanks.

Where are my old Emails?!
It seems you deleted all old Mails in my Yahoo-Account. WTF? Where are they? Some of them contained precious memories.
If your account has had no activity for 365 days, then the account is deactivated. We communicate this a few times which includes sending you an email to your alternative email account, so make sure that is updated. If you need help reinstating, contact our CC team at help.yahoo.com. They have the tools to help with these issues. Hope this helps!

Spam folder should show number of emails when hovering
Like the Inbox folder icon, the Spam folder icon should also show the number of emails when hovering over the icon. Showing a small unread emails number on the Spam icon's upper righthand side would be a nice feature too. Currently, I need to open the Spam folder to see if there are any emails. I am using Microsoft Edge browser.

There's a problem deleting emails from the Inbox.
I don't really call the problem with Navigation, but nothing else fits.
Every time I delete an email without opening it, the system opens the next email. I don't want the next email opened! It just started a few days ago, but it's very annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please go back to the way it was last week.

Also need to see which address an email was sent to
WE also need to see which email address a message is sent to. Right now, when viewing a message, it simply says to "me" but does not show me which email address it was sent to. Thus when looking at message in the spam box, I can't even tell which of my yahoo email addresses it was sent to. Being able to see which of my email addresses when both composing and viewing is very important.

the mail checkboxes are not working noir setttings buttons or anything in that bar
Using the yahoo mailbox in firefox or chrome, I can't use anything in the navigation bar. The back button. The check boxes of mail. the reply , forward, and settings buttons all do nothing in both browsers. I tried to submit a support ticket, but it's not letting me. I looked at the developer tools and it looks like your CSS of the buttons are messed up. Please fix this ASAP. it does appear as the phone app is sitll working, but the website is definite busted.

Increase Blocked addresses to be more than 1000
Would be great to increase the limit to add blocked address under security to be either unlimited or atleast 5 times or more the limit it currently has.
Scammers and spoof emails change day to day; they update their email address and or update or change/add domains, and the feature comes in handy when you can block the address to help fight spoofing/spam emails coming into your client's inbox.
Please consider increasing the limit or making it unlimited.
The best way to get rid of spam is to mark as spam, not delete or block! This helps with your spam filters and does exactly what blocking does, prevents that email from coming to your Inbox. So please keep marking as spam! It is free and part of regular Yahoo Mail. Thanks!

How does one edit Contacts
Its near impossible to edit "Contacts"
Hi Russ, looking at your Inbox, you can find your Contacts in the top, right hand side (above the ad). Click on Contacts and from there you can click on any Contact you want to edit. Once you're in that Contact card, just click on the "..." (three dots) and you'll see Edit Contacts. Hope this helps!

Return to displaying email address of possible scam site
Display of possible scam site address in messages helps in trying to identify suspicious email sources. Why was this function removed in the "New Yahoo Mail" set-up? It was very helpful & was advised as an online safety check by at least 2 sources. Where did it go?
And there is more, much more, changes in "New Yahoo Mail" set-up that are mind boggling. -

My inbox is the trash folder, how can I correct this?

When Unread becomes Read
Where do unread emails go if they are marked read? It is very easy to mark a message as read and then it seems to just disappear, without having ever been read. They don't appear to go to trash.

Hi Jim, thanks for your feedback. If you disable Conversation view under your Settings, you will have more options to sort your email. Some options can't be done when you have Conversation mode enabled. Thanks!
