Having emails broken up by date is helpful when trying to locate a relevant email. Yes, it is ordered by date in the inbox, but not being able to see where yesterday, last week, and last month emails start makes it very difficult when doing a visual search because you cannot search using the correct key word or recall the sender - only roughly when it was sent. Please bring back the time periods (today, yesterday, last week, last month, last year, etc.).

unread filter is now useless
I'm now stuck in the new UI and the unread folder doesn't have the option to filter out the sent items. I need to find and remove some 50,000 old emails and now I can't reach them because of all the unsubscribe emails you sent on my behalf.

Extra, unnecessary navigation and features being forced
I like the new look, however there are a couple things I dislike. It seems now I need to actually select an email to "Star" it. That wasn't necessary prior. Also, the trash icon will not appear on the email in the left column unless you move your mouse away and return. These new aspects are seriously annoying and would prefer an option for that not to be that way. When changing the look, please don't change folder structures. Would sure like to be able to use Page Up and Page Down in an open message. It worked in old version, can you restore it to function in this new version?

The delete confirmation pop up partially covers the trash can icon for the next message in the message list. moving the confirmation pop up up a few pixels will resolve that.

Number of items in each folder
The number of messages in folders only shows an unread tally. I would like to see the number of ALL read and unread messages like it was previously.

Cannot move emails into folders
In the new Yahoo platform, there are times I cannot "move" selected emails into folders. The tool will show a red message that the email cannot be moved. I have never had this happen before (with the old platform). I have cleared my cache, updated my browser, refreshed the page, etc. It's SO FRUSTRATING. I don't have time to click a million buttons, links, etc. to move ONE email ONE time. This issue needs to be fixed.

Restore unread mails view of multiple inboxes
The "old" interface had the possibility to see unread emails per inbox. I have four inboxes in Yahoo Mail and at a glance I can see in which inbox I have unread emails. In the new interface this is gone. Please restore this.

Display the entire subject line instead of a useless URL from the emai.
The new yahoo mail shows me about one third of the subject line and uses the rest of the room to display the URL of the first link in the email. Introduce a setting where I can see more of the subject line.

Highlighted Message
In dark mode, you cannot tell which message in your list is selected, so you don't know which message you are seeing in the viewing pane. It isn't "highlighted".

Navigation
I FAR prefer the old Yahoo mail system to this new one! I'm not getting new messages timely? Yesterday I only had about 3 show up all day! Then last evening I had probably 125 new messages show up, some even from the day before?

Please add the photo folder back. i have many photos to look at and now I have to search from when I sent it

Multiple accounts no longer visible on one screen
Previously I could have the 3 email accounts displayed on the left above the folder list. When a new email came in I could see there was one there without changing accounts. This feature has gone.
Please bring back the old Yahoo Mail, this new one is rubbish!!

Navigating the inbox list
First, a fix request: the "keep folders expanded" tip did not work for me. I see the double arrows, but no dropdown appears.
Second, I miss the inbox division by date. It was a quick way to see at-a-glance which emails I've already gone thru. Please consider at least making it optional for people that want it.
Third, I wish there was a way to condense the inbox list vertically, similar to Outlook. The extra padding around each line actually makes it harder to see things quickly. Too much visual clutter with the extra space and the logos. Would actually…

Toggle between accounts
You took away the ability to toggle between two accounts. I now have to sign in and sign out of each account. This is stupid. I want to remain signed in for both accounts but I don't want them combined as one is work and one is personal. We used to be able to select which acount we wanted and switch easily. Please return this function.

I have tried to move items from delete/spam etc. to in box and cannot do it. I liked the "old" yahoo better. How can I move items?

Lag time for receiving emails in yahoo
It takes literally hours for an email to show up in my inbox. The emails sent to me this morning will not show up in my inbox until the afternoon, and the emails sent this afternoon won't show up until tomorrow morning. I do not have this issue with gmail. What on earth is taking so long?
