Current Open Email Indicator Bar
When i am reading my emails with my inbox or folder on the left and the email on the right of the screen, the only indicator on the left in the list of emails of which one I am currently reading is a small, slim purple bar on the right of the email subject and first line card. This little purple bar gets partially covered by the scroll up and down bar when not hovering over it and is completely covered by it if you start using the scroll bar. My preference would be that you make the purple bar…

BUG: Issue with Attachment Viewer
When pre-viewing an attachment on an email with multiple attachments, ability to select a file from the dropdown is great; allows the user to quickly select a particular file.
However, when I wanted to go back to the email, for each of those selected files, I need to click the "X" on the top right. If I viewed 3 files, using the dropdown to switch between them, I have to click "X" on top right 3 times.
The UX should be that a single click on "X" closes the attachment previews and goes back to the email.

A few usability suggestions
Great new design, I like it. There are a few things that I think could be improved:
Ads look the same as new emails so its hard to see how many emails you haven't checked - good for ads click through, not so great for user experience.
The inbox icon doesn't show the number of unread emails which is a bit odd.
The inbox default to Priority not All even if you haven't set the priority emails.

I do not use ad blocker, yet I am told to turn it off. Fix your code, yahoo.

Some important functions disappear at certain levels of screen zoom
Because of my eyesight, I often increase the zoom on my screen. In this new design, certain essential buttons disappear "below the fold" and require either a scroll or even resizing the zoom level so it appears. This includes the list of MAILBOXES at bottom left and also the SEND button when composing a message.
These crucial functions should either be moved up to the upper part of the display or remain durable at the bottom of the screen regardless of the level of zoom. Or at least allow the left panel and the overall page to be scrollable so…

Fix the PDF E-Signature Preview Bug or Default to the Old Features
The attached PDF file we previewed in the emails didn't contain the E-Signature our company needed to verify with our clients. When we downloaded the PDF file it showed the E-Signatures. This caused some miscommunications and confusions.

Filter emails like this
The original Yahoo Mail had an option to "Filter Emails Like This...."
The new Yahoo Mail does not. Please restore this option on the main page. Thank you.
-
Add filter option in email header
In the header there should be an option to define a filter on the sender. Way too cumbersome to set up filters.
Also it is impossible to register for premium for non-US citizens! It is a recurring problem. Very strange. -
left column navigation
Left column navigation is impossible with new yahoo mail on smaller screens. On a 13" laptop, the left column menu options (inbox, sent, drafts, etc.) become "frozen" since the vertical scroll bar disappears.

Inbox will not load
My idea is to build a web client that works. My inbox has not loaded since you forced me to switch to your new mail system. Fix it.

search
Have you noticed that the Search box under "How can we improve the New Yahoo Mail?" has TWO circled X's to clear out the selection? Isn't one of them supposed to START the search? It seems that your Feedback page hasn't been properly tested.

individual email navigation buttons
Please put the email navigation buttons ABOVE the inbox all the time, as they have been in the past. Having it jump to between the inbox and preview is not helpful.

There is no scroll bar on my NEW yahoo email. One is displayed for a fraction of a second when I first go to my mail, but does not return.
Unable to scroll to see emails. Scroll bar cannot be accessed. Please help!

Managing emails
The changes to Yahoo Mail are intolerable for me. The only way I can manage my Yahoo Mail account is by using the options you had before, where you can select 40 emails at a time, then click the sideways arrow at the top to move to the next section of 40 older emails, where you have numbers at the top and can move over 40 email sections at a time. Now that you have deleted that functionality and can only scroll downward into infinity, I cannot manage my emails. To think you are trying to charge people now that…

allow moving to different folder via keyboard shortcuts (number keys)
When an Inbox message is selected/previewed, selecting "Move(D)" and then hitting the appropriate number (1-9) for a destination folder used to move the message to that folder. However, with the new website changes, the number key no longer selects/confirms the destination folder. This removes the efficiency of using the keyboard only for organizing messages. Please return the functionality to its previous state. Make the number keys work again for moving messages.

Filter Patterns
Please please please add the ability to use patterns for Filter conditions. This pattern could be regex or globs.
This would simplify the filtering because we wouldn't have to create so many of them.

arcive
i cant arcive because things overlap

Move 3 "More" dots to Top
Move the 3 more dots to the top above folders. I often try to go to Spam or Trash and since I have so many folders, I either have to scroll all the way to the bottom or collapse the folder list.

feedback
I thought this was for feedback. No category. I like some things about the new configuration and somethings are very annoying and I do not like them:
*after deleting an email, it goes back to top and I have to scroll down to find where I was; so annoying
*why is the spam box hiding; hate that
*also saving a signature that has been updated does not show up (like it used to) unless you close Yahoo and reopen
*even though I click on ALL, it keeps returning to PRIMARY. Grrr!!! NO!
