Current Open Email Indicator Bar
When i am reading my emails with my inbox or folder on the left and the email on the right of the screen, the only indicator on the left in the list of emails of which one I am currently reading is a small, slim purple bar on the right of the email subject and first line card. This little purple bar gets partially covered by the scroll up and down bar when not hovering over it and is completely covered by it if you start using the scroll bar. BUG: Issue with Attachment Viewer
When pre-viewing an attachment on an email with multiple attachments, ability to select a file from the dropdown is great; allows the user to quickly select a particular file.
However, when I wanted to go back to the email, for each of those selected files, I need to click the "X" on the top right. If I viewed 3 files, using the dropdown to switch between them, I have to click "X" on top right 3 times.
The UX should be that a single click on "X" closes the attachment previews and goes back to the email.

Allow configuration of number of emails displayed when viewing INBOX and slightly increase the viewing window for preview
The new layout has extremely small windows to view the inbox and preview. This is due to distinct space created between each viewing boxes and then filling with adverstisements. Either thin the gaps or allow to configure viewing font size in inbox.

Stop bundling emails
Recently, emails have been "bundled" for those Yahoo deems as rarely interacted with. This is annoying and I didn't turn this feature on. I have tried to find a setting to turn this off but haven't been able to. Please turn this off or at least post how this can be done by the user.

Yahoo Mail Glitches!!! Yahoo digressing
There are many glitches in the yahoo Mail system.
1) copy / paste does not work correctly. When I paste something, it pastes it at the top of the email above my initial greetings
2) My cursor will randomly jump while tying and it starts typing in a different area (very annoying)

Inbox sorting
The 'hover and list by name' does all emails in folders....everywhere. Not helpful when trying to delete or move messages to folders in the inbox. List by name in the inbox only. Do this like a spread sheet where you click on the heading and it sorts that column by name or sender. This is a great feature with other email programs. We have hundreds of emails that need to be picked individually...not helpful. Sort by name in the inbox lets you grab all 15 garbage emails from a sender and deal with them all at once. Please return me to the top of my Inbox when I go back after reading an email
Every time I open an email and then go back to my Inbox, it automatically scrolls down so that I can't see my newest emails. This is very annoying to have to keep scrolling back up constantly. I would appreciate it if you could either tell me how to stop this from happening or fix it on your end. Thank you.

The system is too slow
Hello,
The new Yahoo mail is much too slow overall. The old Yahoo mail was quick and snappy, but the new Yahoo mail is too slow and sluggish. I find this to be the case on my Mac desktop as well as on my wife's Windows 11 laptop. Please work on speeding up the system for faster responses to button clicks and for faster overall processing. Its slowness has caused enough frustration and annoyance for us that we are going back to the old Yahoo mail.

Expand click area for item selection checkbox
In mailboxes, to the left of the email subject line, is a checkbox. These checkboxes are used to select a bunch of emails at once. The click radius on the checkboxes is so incredibly tiny, that I keep ending up clicking into an email while I'm trying to select a bunch of emails for deletion. This is both on desktop and mobile and it's driving me crazy. Stop Auto-Return To Inbox Beginning
After I close an older email message, say from a couple of days before, stop taking me back to the beginning of my email messages. I have to scroll all the way back down to where I was. It should take me back to where I left off in the Inbox.

View emails from all accounts
I want to view emails from all accounts just by switching in the front icon. Now I need to switch accounts, this is annoying and wasting time.

Delete button shift`
Hi,
When I click delete it asks, do I want "unsubscribe" or report as spam, at first I thought it is part of feature - delete few emails and it would ask are you sure want to continue receive it.
Now i have discovered it is because on emails where there is CC , navigation displays 3 instead of 2 reply/forward options, which shifts DELETE button, and with that if you don't look, you click now spam button instead of delete button. Visible indication of email fetched.
Used to be, there was a progress bar when the inboxx was clicked, to show mail being fetched. Ok, it was false. But I liked it. Bring it back.

Move the hover actions to the left
In the previous UI two actions that I use a lot (star and mark as read) were very conveniently towards the beginning of the email list and their respective buttons (the empty/full star and the little blue dot) were always present on the screen so I would directly point at them to click.
Now there are two UI downgrades:
1. the actions are now hidden until I hover on that email - which means I first need to hover, then observe where the little actions box show up, locate the icons I want, point and click; previously the buttons were… -
don't expand folders immediately
When I want to drag an email into another folder, and that folder has subfolders, the subfolders are expanded instantly. I don't want that.
Either have a delay before expanding subfolders, or have the subfolders automatically collapse back after dropping the email.
Otherwise, I have to manually collapse subfolders back into the main folder. That is tedious.
