Current Open Email Indicator Bar
When i am reading my emails with my inbox or folder on the left and the email on the right of the screen, the only indicator on the left in the list of emails of which one I am currently reading is a small, slim purple bar on the right of the email subject and first line card. This little purple bar gets partially covered by the scroll up and down bar when not hovering over it and is completely covered by it if you start using the scroll bar. My preference would be that you make the purple bar…

Make all email accounts visable
Please make all email accounts we use visable, without having to switch back and forth. It's very inconvenient.

New version is very messay
why I love my old version cos
- unread emails have clear subject headers with their categories / folders name behind
- now it is infront and makes reading mail headers interrupted by folder name first
- row separator colors are clear and distinctive, making scanning email headers easy
- fonts are better compressed and cleari really prefer the old email

Accessibility is worse
Reducing the email list field makes this very difficult to see my emails. The huge space on the right for ads is animated and distracting and makes it impossible. Why reduce the usable field of view and clutter the remaining space? This reduces utility and renders yahoo mail inaccessible for those with vision differences. I would like to opt out of the new look because I cannot use as-is.

one click for read / unread
make it like it was before: one click to change from read to unread : at least a click on the place where dot appears when you set unread using the long path..
the same for the star also!

Overall improvements needed
Your interface is extremely slow. I'm on a MacBook Air accessing with Safari, and your new email interface is super slow. I don't know what's going on in the background, but it's taking up to a full minute for a message to display. I desperately want to go back to your old interface.

Move a hidden menu
Hello - There is a menu item that is quite hidden.
At the very bottom of the left hand "folder" list is a ...More menu. In there are settings, storage options, feedback, help, etc. If you don't scroll to the very bottom of your folder list, you won't even know it's there. Can you take that ...More menu out of the folder list and put it UNDER the folder list, just above the Storage and Mailbox selectors? It is still at the bottom left and out of the way but not hidden in a folder list that, for me at…

Newly launched Yahoo Mail makes it frustratingly difficult to navigate email
Hi, I opened my email today to find that it's been updated. I'm using it in a web browser. The first thing I noticed is that when slowly scrolling down, the pagination-based loading makes my view of the email list jump down and skip many emails, so I lose my place. I scroll back up to find the emails it skipped past, then it jumps way up again, past the emails I was trying to see. It's very frustrating, because I can't simply scroll down to the emails that I want to see, due to this jumping around. A slightly…

SLOWWWWWWW
Why is the new Yahoo so SLOW?!? Switching between emails take 3x longer than classic Yahoo. When I want to move an email to a folder and I start typing it literally take 5+ seconds to find the folder, whereas with Classic Yahoo it found it while I was typing. This is really hard to use. You need to figure out what's making this version so slow and fix it. It's unusable.

when clicking the account Icon don't have it disappear
When looking for my account information, I click on the circle icon, and it goes away. it is currently set to hover, remove the click functionality, as it is frustrating to have it disappear. Everything else is a click.

Allow for USER DEFINED DEFAULT VIEW based on SORT
God's sakes, I KNOW this has been requested over and over.
"The inability to set 'Sort by Sender name' as a permanent default inbox view makes inbox cleanup incredibly frustrating. The page constantly forces a reset back to chronological order while I am trying to delete bulk spam. Please update the UI settings to allow users to permanently lock their preferred layout view" ... he screams again into the void....
Yes, you have added OTHER TOOLS to help in this but has it occurred to anyone that we may actually NEED to use our actual senses (eyes) before a deletion??

Drag and Drop Emails Into Folders (The old one did this)
We can no longer Drag and Drop Emails Into Folders (The old one did this).
Now, when you click on folders, they show up in a pop-in box that does not allow drag and drop.
It is very tedious to use the "Move" command and find a folder. When I switch back to the "old" format, the folders are in a huge ling list with no way to open/close the subfolders.
Also, in the new format when typing in a folder name to move email to, the system freezes more times than not.

Shift focus to the email body by default
When I access yahoo emails through the browser, and when I move from one email to the next (say when I have deleted an email), the cursor automatically doesn't shift focus to the next email body. It remains somewhere in the browser. I cannot automatically start scrolling the next email. I have to click inside the email body and only then I can scroll up and down. This is very frustrating especially for users who prefer to use the keyboard only. Please automatically shift focus to email body when a new email is opened.

Option in left toolbar to expand/collapse Folders panel
In the past week, the left panel listing personal email folders has been replaced with a column of icons (Inbox, Sent, Spam, Drafts, Deleted Items, Folders). The hidden folders makes it very inconvenient
- Adds more steps to access folder contents
- Cannot quickly switch between folders. Must open the submenu each time.
These are common actions that now take twice as long to navigate. If the folder panel still exists, I cannot find it. Therefore it would improve the UX for a clear Collapse/Expand button or menu option to return the panel.

Remember the eMail Sort or save the sort preference if you want older emails first
why can't the sort preference be saved to older emails first? Why does it default to newer emails first. It seems basic to be able to save or remember the sort preference.
