WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Firefox Bug Update: Toolbar App Install Prompt Still Appears at Every Login (March 8, 2025)

    Bug Update: Firefox Bug of Toolbar app asking to be installed at every login still appears.

    I posted this before, back in December 2024, but it has still not been fixed so I am filing new Feedback on March 8, 2025. Please fix this so that the install toolbar app is removed from the New Yahoo Mail Inbox just like any other web browser.

  2. Improve the email search function

    There is an issue with the search function. When I try to use "Search your mail" for an email, I get an error message: An error occurred while trying to fetch the items in this list. Retry.

    I click Retry and receive the same message.

    This has been happening for months now. How can this be resolved?

  3. Inbox older than 12 months

    I have always kept some old emails in my Inbox because I refer to them frequently. Since the upgrade now emails older than 12 months are automatically removed from my inbox and deleted. WHY are you doing that?!?!? Please don't force me to Gmail.

  4. how to close email without going to the X

    Currently after reviewing an email I cannot get out of it without going to the top of the email and clicking the X in the upper right hand corner. The old version had the ability to go back to the inbox with a back arrow at the top left of the email.
