WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Search by Subject & Folder

    I use Mail search almost everyday and the old Yahoo mail let me search by subject and folder. folder search is now gone in the new version. How do I switch back or get this daily used feature back ASAP?

  2. Search in specific folder

    I used emails in a specific folder not the whole mailbox. It'll be nice to have that feature again. Thank you

  3. Improve the New Yahoo Mail Experience

    I'm a new Yahoo Mail user, and overall the experience is good. Here are some suggestions for improvement:

    Improve loading speed, especially when switching between folders and opening emails.
    Add more customization options for themes, fonts, and inbox layouts.
    Make spam filtering more accurate to reduce unwanted emails.
    Provide a simpler account recovery process for users who have login issues.
    Improve search functionality so older emails are easier to find.
    Add more productivity features, such as email scheduling, reminders, and better organization tools.
    Enhance security by offering clearer alerts for suspicious login attempts and easier access to security settings.

  4. Return the ability to easily search by subject

    In the old mail, there was a search icon next to the subject for easily finding all emails in a conversation.

    There now seems to be no option at all for doing so in preview-right mode, or with an email as full screen. In list or preview-bottom modes, the option is buried in the ellipsis menu.

    Bring back the conversational search icon that used to appear alongside the subject line when hovering over the email in the list and the preview and the full-screen view.

  5. Search results are obscured

    When searching on a particular word I get results where two results are highlighted at the top as two windows. The remainder of the results appear below these, but no matter how I try to format or change screen size etc. I can see at most one line or even one-half of a line. I cannot expand the remainder of the results and I cannot reduce the size of the top items highlighted at the top. I end up having no way to search my mail.
