WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Search by Subject & Folder

    I use Mail search almost everyday and the old Yahoo mail let me search by subject and folder. folder search is now gone in the new version. How do I switch back or get this daily used feature back ASAP?

  2. Search in specific folder

    I used emails in a specific folder not the whole mailbox. It'll be nice to have that feature again. Thank you

  3. Searching Sent Messages by the receivers address

    Yahoo used to have the option of searching sent messages by receivers name - this was extremely handy - please can it be put back in place!

    As a user of Yahoo services, I often encounter challenges when trying to resolve account-related issues such as password recovery, hacking, or unauthorized access.

    Currently, the support options available are limited and sometimes difficult to navigate, especially for urgent security concerns.

    I would like to request the addition of more accessible and direct support channels, such as live chat or phone support, specifically for account recovery and security issues. This would greatly enhance user experience by providing faster assistance and peace of mind.
