Why can'y I find my old address book form old email before mandatory switch to Yahoo??
You can find your Contacts on the right hand side of your Inbox, above the ad. You'll see at the top Starred, Contacts and More. Thanks!

Email sorting. Alphabetically
For years the emails could be sorted alphabetically. This would simplify and speed the deleting process. Please add this option. Thank you
Hi there, you can disable Inbox Categories under your Settings and go back to having just one Inbox. What use case would you want to sort alphabetical? Are you wanting to see senders? YOU can sort by sender, but Conversation view needs to be disabled. Thanks!

search by folder
I could clear my inbox a lot quicker if I could search only the inbox! I think this used to be an option on the customized search
Hi Nancy, you can search by only Inbox... not sure we're following? From you Inbox, when you do a search in the search box, it only searches the Inbox. Are you seeing something different? Also, the advanced search icon is to the right of the Search box. Thanks!

Search cards in results????? Why??? Need to be able to delete or close
I wish I could share a screen shot but currently there are search results that show "cards" which I know someone is trying to be helpful but on a small screen, I cant even read the emails. The "cards" in the results need to be allowed to be closed or minimized so I can actually read the results of teh search.

Improve Search Function
When I do a search of emails, I would like to limit the search to just my inbox. We used to be able to do this via Advanced search, which offered a drop down menu that offered "inbox" as an option. Why did you change this????
Hi Debbie, we changed this slightly, but it's still the same as the old version In the Search box, you'll see the Advanced search icon to the right.
Then you'll see Search in... and you can choose the account. It will search the "inbox" of that account. Thanks!

Include new filter category - size of email
Dear Sirs, I have been using your services for more than 20 years. I understand you want to put 15GB limit on the maximum mail account. However when I tried to delete the largest messages, this was not possible. My suggestion is to add new functionality - filter mail by its size. I am happy to continue using your services with 15GB limit, at the same time I cant find the big emails. I think this feature would help also other users.
Would you plan to include it in your development plan?Thank you.

Hi Daniel, you can sort by "Largest First" when looking at your Inbox. You can also go to a Manage Storage Landing page that helps you with deleting tools. That way you get under the 15GB threshold! Just go to the cloud icon in your left hand navigation. It's towards the bottom. Thanks!

I am fed up up getting phishing emails there need two be something to stop them on yahoo?
The best way to get rid of spam is to mark as spam, not delete or block! This helps with your spam filters and does exactly what blocking does, prevents that email from coming to your Inbox. So please keep marking as spam! It is free and part of regular Yahoo Mail. Thanks!

Email Box Clean-Up help
Hi, I would like to have the ability to search for a email address and mass delete messages. For example I unsubscribed to newsletter I don't use any more but have 2000+ emails, would be nice if there is a way to search and mass delete messages you unsubscribed too. Maybe even a feature of the unsubsribe button.

SEARCH and/or Sort
I am new from transfer from Comcast, that had excellent email sort by (column: name, date, etc) options. I cannot find any such capability on Yahoo. The need is to search by SENDER, etec., so I can see my emails, select the ones I do not want in that group, and delete them. I realize Yahoo sells storage, but this necessary to manage and delete old emails.

The search in the new web UI is much worse than the old UI
For example, searching for "EVGA" to find an old receipt yields 0 results. Searching for the same thing in the iOS app finds the mail with the receipt immediately

Add a filter in the inbox with mail size
I want to delete my mails with the biggest file size, but I can't filter on this. The data consumption for Yahoo is huge when I can't delete the biggest ones.
Yes, you can delete by size! You can go to your Settings and then click on the storage cloud icon. From there you can sort by largest files. You can also do this by looking at your Inbox, and to the top, right hand side, you'll see the sorting icon and one of your choices is "Largest First." Thanks.

Add ability to Sort emails alphabetically so items from same sender can be grouped together for easy Moving or Deleting.

Other email programs provide the option of filtering emails by sender. I cannot find this option in ymail.

What happened to 3000+ e-mails
Dear Sirs,
I was very uneasy about switching to the Yahoo service. I have been a Comcast/Xfinity customer for over 30 years. I have lost easily several thousand e-mails in the transition. Many of those I would likely have deleted anyway but now it seems like I have maybe a hundred e-mails when it was formerly in the thousands. Is there anyway to retrieve everything that has been lost?
What does your statement mean, "I have a product subscription that includes technical support?" That was not a requirement with Comcast/Xfinity or was it included in my monthly fee? Does Yahoo… -
Spam Emails
Why are all these spam emails allowed to come through? Many should be reported for content. I have used up all my blocked privileges so just have to keep deleting them now but this is excessive to receive all this spam and disturbing content daily , spam should be blocked also and not up to me to keep blocking and now i can't block any more, only delete
Please make sure you are marking these emails as spam instead of just deleting. Also, if they are newsletters please make sure you unsubscribe from these. We will also share this with our anti-spam team. Thank you!
