functional search engine with easy navigation
As a long-time Yahoo Mail user, I would like to point out that with the latest version of this mail I have a problem with searching for emails by sender name.
I don't get what I need at all and like it was in the previous version.When I select to see an email from a specific name, I don't get just the name I need, but all possible emails sent by others. It completely blocks my quick browsing and selection activities.
Please show me a solution.

Storage -- Dark Pattern UX
It should be a given that an email provider gives a user a way to sort by size of the email. With the new storage limit, it seems like you've neglected this critical feature in an attempt to get users to purchase storage from you. It doesn't appear in my inbox, even on desktop, and doesn't even appear in the "helpful" options you provide to manage storage. As a long time yahoo user, I am floored by this dark pattern.

Sort by Sender
Need to be able to sort by SENDER!
You've taken this away in the previous version AND in the new version
This is a NECESSARY sort as you can then sort then do what you want with them as a Group!
As it is now, there is no way to sort by sender at all (that anyone can find). -
Bulk delete from specific sender
There used to be the option to select all the email from a specific sender to GROUP DELETE. Can we have that back?

Searching for (messages) by sender, or by subject
In the old email, there is a circle next to the sender, when you click on that circle, ALL email from that sender appears. You can do the same with subject. There is no need to retype any of that information. It was much easier.

How do you search emails from a sender???
Previous versions of the email SW had a very easy right-click-menu item that would search the emails sent from the selected sender.
I can't find that functionality in the latest.... WHat am I doing wrong? Seems that it is a very basic function to have?

"Folders," if you really feel you MUST do something.
If you really insist on doing something new, give us the ability to create folders like Gmail does, especially if I want to save important types of emails without them being in my Inbox.
Otherwise I like being able to sort multiple ways. Don't EVER get rid of that.

Search by sender
You DELETED the search by sender with the latest redesign.
That's one of the only reasons that I use yahoo mail.

Filter by Sender account
Need you to add back option to filter email by Sender email account. It was available in a popup box where filter by email subject but it disappeared on 8/11 or early 8/12.

sort by sender
I can not "sort by sender". That choice does not appear in Preferences although the Help page indicates that it should.
I have a tremendous number of emails to go through and that would be very helpful. Thanks.

I sometimes need to find old messages. Now they are hidden. How can I get the ability to find old messages.

Lost emails
I am having an issue finding old emails. I cant find anything past 6 months ago and that is a BIG issue. I need my emails and it feels like yahoo just took them and I have no way of finding them. This very disturbing. I don't like it! Help me find my emails please.

Keep the "Search for messages from this Sender" feature. Its extremely helpful to find messages from the same sender/group across dates either to use them or to simply delete them all and free up space.

Make sort by size available in the basic Yahoo email - it is a questionable practice that you don't offer this in the other email versions. Your attempt to up-sell as you reduce the basic space allowed, while hiding the tool, is not cool.

turn off package tracker when searching.
showing the package tracker is immensely hindering. it consumes most of the screen making it hard to actually find emails. make it so it can be turned off.

Sent folder
Where has the sent folder disappeared to???

Search Results
Your search results are bad. It doesn't search through all folders, doesn't show all dates, doesn't even do exact matches correctly. Also, when I try to submit feedback, it breaks and says unavailable. Maybe this time it will work.

Search mode
Be able to search for sender or subject just within a given mail folder. For example, someone (ABC) sends an email and you put it in the XYZ folder -> so be able to search for that ABC sender just in the XYZ folder. The search would be applied to inbox or to any folder but I just want to be able to search in the given XYZ folder only once I am in the XYZ folder.
