A Search Mails in specific folder only NOT ALL FOLDERS
PLS ACT FAST ON THIS ... THIS IS URGENT
While organizing mails, we search for mails from a sender, and they get picked from all folders. To delete only the mails in the inbox, we have to manually select the mails as else, on selecting ALL Mails, the mails from this sender, in all folders will get selected and deleted, which is not what is wanted.
So it is requested that the search mails feature, have an option to search only in a specific list of folders.
Having this feature will not only help the users but also Yahoo as… -
Intellisense Input boxes
A "Choose a Parent Folder" pops up when we try to move a folder. This requires us to manually select a folder. That is a difficult process when we have many folders to scroll through. Instead, I wish that we could use an input box with autofill intellisense. Then we could get to the parent folder much more easily with just a few keystrokes. And thank you in advance for implementing this valuable improvement.

Search results are obscured
When searching on a particular word I get results where two results are highlighted at the top as two windows. The remainder of the results appear below these, but no matter how I try to format or change screen size etc. I can see at most one line or even one-half of a line. I cannot expand the remainder of the results and I cannot reduce the size of the top items highlighted at the top. I end up having no way to search my mail.

Search is slow
When moving an email from inbox to another folder, the search feature is very very slow which results in the search results ( in this case folders ) not matching the search criteria.

Exclude folders from search
when searching for mails, often we need to exclude some mails from being listed, so that we can easily select all the mails and delete them. So if we have one folder that can store mails that will not figure out in search, then we can move all the mails, which we dont want to delete , into this folder and then do search and delete easily. Else these mails, will figure in each search , again and again, and we have to take efforts to exclude these mails from deletion. Any other solution to overcome the issue is welcome,…

Instructions on how to do something in your account!
The search in the account will not bring up "Domain Blocking". All of Yahoo's help articles provide the wrong instructions. There is NO "Gear Icon", there is no "Privacy and Security" section. They are 2 separate sections and Block Doman is not under either section. It horrible that the "Search" in my account can't even bring up the "Domain Blocking" section, it just sits in whatever section (privacy or security) that I bring up.

Search results with 2 emails at the top
I dislike how there are 2 boxes showing some likely emails that I searching for and I cannot collapse them or get rid of them from the top. it is too large and it takes up space to a point the list of other emails in the search is like showing 3-5 rows. Please show me how to remove it as it is not helpful at all.

display tally of emails on search by sender/recipient
20 years ago, yahoo listed on the left panel each sender/recipient on a search. this allowed a filter to then go into the sender/recipient for the search topic. sometimes you do a search without remembering the sender/recipient that you needed to contact. this was immensely useful! BRING IT BACK!

make email search results unlimited
presently, the search command returns only the most recent emails. many times we want to view a historical record from years ago to present or need a complete record of interactions. the way it is can be extremely frustrating!

put Keyword back into the Search function
Put Keyword back into the Search function. I'm looking for a bill and I have the dollar amount. If I could search on the dollar amount I could find the bill. Sender and date are pretty much useless in this case

Remove intrusive search preview
When key word searching in mail and hit enter, sometimes/usually there is LARGE boxes that link to specific emails that are I assume the most recent of the most relevant to your search that show up at the top of the mailbox. Please remove that feature or allow a clear way to dismiss this suggestion. If the suggestion is not what you're looking for, and you don't have the window full screened, the suggestions will take up most of the mailbox blocking the view and impeding of the act of searching for what you're looking for.

Better search for attachments
Hello,
When I´m trying to search my email attachments by selecting the tool
containattachmenttypes:document,image,video,audio,pdf,spreadsheet,presentation
it only shows me a very few results ( 4 or 5 emails) .
My account limit is nearly 15 gb now , so I´m concerned about this problem .
Thank you,
Jon Doncel

Searching Mail Folder
We can search what is only in the SENT Folder. When I select search for the INBOX folder I only want to see what is in my INBOX folder not what is in any other folder. You include emails in other folders that in the INBOX folder in that search. That makes no sense.

Large files and mails search function
You have decided to force users to decrease their max mailbox size. This is understandable, but I cannot search on Yahoo! mail by file size today.
Please input that search function!
Yes, we do have this... you can sort your emails this way. Looking at your Inbox, the top right hand side has some sorting options. Largest First is what you want. Thanks.
