WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. McAfee Ads.

    How can I block an Ad?. It says it's from McAfee but I don't believe it. It keeps saying they need new credit card information. I don't use McAfee.

  2. Don't want to see certain ads

    I do not want to see certain ads that come across the top of my email, particularly the one from Hulu saying I can watch "Adult Animation." Could there be a way for me to click on something that says "I do not want to see this ad"?

  3. ads

    I changed all my ad settings to try and get rid of them. They interfere with my typing emails (stop putting the letters I had typed, so the ad could display). This happens many times per day. A business email should not be interfered by ads!!!
    Now after changing the settings I get Adult ads! Chat with me females in the ad!! What kind of business account would allow this! Please fix.

  4. ads keep playing

    dont like that ads start playing whether I mute or silence or even pause it. If this keeps up I will have to cancel my yahoo account AND I will NOT be paying to avoid ads

  6. ads that are between emails

    Why are there deceptive spam ads between my emails? I have one right now that is false and deceptive. The ad in question says: 'Drive Storage Your Cloud is Full Click here to upgrade' and it takes you to a site called rootkitrodeo.click. This is a complete false ad, my cloud storage is not with that business nor is it full. Why would yahoo offer spam ads like this??

    Stop flooding our inboxes with the same, low-quality advertisers, often many times a day. Do the advertisers really think if they hit me with the same message 4 times a day, that I'll buy something from them? Just the opposite for me.

    STOP categorizing your ads as unread email in my inbox. I'm already sick of seeing 1 unread email messages, only to find out it's stupid ads that I'll NEVER click on.

  9. Ask Before Showing External Images Not Working

    With New Yahoo Mail, it's stated when clicking an email that "external images are now more secure, and shown by default" with the ability to change that in settings. However, in settings, it's currently set to "Ask before showing external images". This isn't working as intended and should be remedied asap.
