Allows users to better manage and report suspicious ads
Option to remove spam ads or junk ads..
Today I came across an ad which is spam coming from api.taboola.com in middle of my yahoo emails. when I scroll over to go to my other email, it opens automatically and it shows suspicious IP address and ask me to call number blabla.. I know it is spam but there is no way to delete this "ad" myself. Also when I tried to report this through yahoo support form, https://help.yahoo.com/kb/search-for-desktop and filled in details and clicked
" create request", nothing happens. I am blocked to report this issue properly and also… -
ADDS
Fine with ads in free yahoo, GREAT financial idea, but, please, don't put ads below the mail list. to the right is ok, but below is very irritating as the reading area gets narrow. You may think these irritating ads below will lead people to pay, but rest assured it will rather lead many to Gmail, check out the difference yourelf.

Vet Your Advertisers better to prevent Hackers
Your 3 New Messages sponsor doesn't look like an ad at first glance; if you click on it, you're told your computer is locked down, and then they want you to call them so they can charge you ransomware. The work around is to open Task Manager, end the browser you're in, and open the browser again without restoring the pages. You can restart the pages you do want later. I refuse to be the victim of this shady advertiser!

Manage and remove offensive ads of a sexual nature
You should be able to identify and remove inappropriate ads of a sexual nature. I have an ad that appears at the top of my inbox that is clearly inappropriate. I of course don't want to open it and I can't mark it as spam because it is an ad. This is offensive enough for me to consider closing my account. These ads periodically appear and disappear.

I am from Ukraine and I see the ad for russiantv in my email box, which is absurd and offensive for me, as russians kill my nation for over 10 years.

expense not anticipated
Very disappointed in finding out that there are now many ads showing up in our Yahoo emails. We have the comcast email address and were told we had to switch to Yahoo. This was not an easy task for an 80 year old but when done we get your notice of the ads and that we would have to pay $4.99 per month to cancel ads. I/we feel that is totally not a customer friendly way to force people to deal with the required switch. We are on fixed income, do not need the additional benefits offered. If we could…

accidently opened AD at top of emails causing my PC to lockup due to a security alert
not an idea, but an observation and suggestion. Please screen the AD's that are posted above the emails, to make sure that they are safe to open, because i accidently opened an AD and it triggered a very loud and noisy SECURTIY ALERT or something, and locked up my PC, with a voice that instructed me to NOT shut off my PC and to call a phone number, but i shut off my PC anyway, for i believed the AD was some type of SCAM, and i was eventually able to restart my PC with a little effort and stress…

In the inbox there is an ad with a title like "3 New Messages" that when clicked pops up a threatening message and noises, attempting to scare people into believing their system is locked and they must pay to unlock.
