TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

    There was an electric bike ad that went to something that looked like a computer virus laden page. Not certain how this gets sent through without being vetted by anyone at all.

  2. Stop Showing Ads in Yahoo Mail+

    When I signed up for Mail+, one of the key benefits was an ad-free experience across Yahoo. Since then, that benefit has disappeared, and they've even reduced the amount of inbox storage available. Yet I'm still paying for the "no ads" promise.

    So imagine my surprise when I opened my inbox and was greeted by a massive promotion for 50% off the first year of Monarch—presented as a special "perk" for Mail+ users. But let's be honest: it's an ad. And not a subtle one, either. It's huge.

  5. Ads steal cursor away from what I was doing

    I am using Windows 10, 148.0.7778.168 (Official Build) (64-bit). As of 5/13/2026, anytime the right side ad banner rotates to a new ad, it takes my cursor from any other part of the window it was in. This is especially frustrating when I am writing, and every 40-70 seconds, my cursor is moved to the right side, and my up/down arrow keys show it was hijacked by the refreshed ad. My browser has no extensions or ad blockers. I sometimes use other browsers that do have ad blockers, but it seems functionality is an ongoing problem for me in Yahoo…

  6. Create an option to not see certain ads

  8. Please keep Yahoo Mail safe

    Please block ads that direct users to scam websites. I have received several ads with the title "3 New Messages". When I click on them a popup appears that indicates my device will be locked unless I pay.

  9. Having a headache deleting advertising emails. Thinking about abandoning the use of yahoo. The harsh is unreasonable. Waste too much time

    Now I pay for storage, we should not receive so many advertisement. Is there a way to get rid of them, or is that Yahoo sells my email?

  10. Type of Ads in my email

    Please stop putting these dating sites within my email. They show up several times while reading my email and there is no place for me to unsubscribe or block them out. Stop forcing these sites on me. They are disgusting and I did not sign up for this. I do understand I will get ads. However, your ads are out of control when you keep posting them inside my emails.

  12. Inappropriate ads on Yahoo Mail

    I am facing an issue where inappropriate and uncomfortable ads are being displayed on Yahoo Mail. While I understand ads are part of the free service, the current ads are not suitable for a family environment. Other email providers like Gmail and Outlook also show ads but they are not inappropriate like Yahoo. Kindly improve ad filtering and provide better control over ad content.

  14. cleanup your cookies.

    I am getting a eset cookie page transfer warning. one of your cookies kicks in a page reroute to a phishing webpage trying to get my information.

    I have been deluged with Thank you for signing up letters. I have not signed up for anthing. Please find a way to detect when this happens (AI) and help prevent it . Thanks

  18. How to report bad ads

    Is there a way to delete an ad? One of the ads, listed as Olivia Miller, is SPAM and want to control your computer!!

  20. Allows users to better manage and report suspicious ads

    Option to remove spam ads or junk ads..

    Today I came across an ad which is spam coming from api.taboola.com in middle of my yahoo emails. when I scroll over to go to my other email, it opens automatically and it shows suspicious IP address and ask me to call number blabla.. I know it is spam but there is no way to delete this "ad" myself. Also when I tried to report this through yahoo support form, https://help.yahoo.com/kb/search-for-desktop and filled in details and clicked
    " create request", nothing happens. I am blocked to report this issue properly and also…
