The dating advertisement is malware

expense not anticipated
Very disappointed in finding out that there are now many ads showing up in our Yahoo emails. We have the comcast email address and were told we had to switch to Yahoo. This was not an easy task for an 80 year old but when done we get your notice of the ads and that we would have to pay $4.99 per month to cancel ads. I/we feel that is totally not a customer friendly way to force people to deal with the required switch. We are on fixed income, do not need the additional benefits offered. If we could…

accidently opened AD at top of emails causing my PC to lockup due to a security alert
not an idea, but an observation and suggestion. Please screen the AD's that are posted above the emails, to make sure that they are safe to open, because i accidently opened an AD and it triggered a very loud and noisy SECURTIY ALERT or something, and locked up my PC, with a voice that instructed me to NOT shut off my PC and to call a phone number, but i shut off my PC anyway, for i believed the AD was some type of SCAM, and i was eventually able to restart my PC with a little effort and stress…

Remove phishing attempt ad
In the inbox there is an ad with a title like "3 New Messages" that when clicked pops up a threatening message and noises, attempting to scare people into believing their system is locked and they must pay to unlock.
Please remove and verify your ad sources! -
stop posting spam adds
red flags all over the place when accidentally clicking on an add that was ripe for the spam folder - McAfee - "missed payment" in subject line. not cool.

warning you allowed a virus
I clicked on an ad saying I had 3 messages in my inbox and it took over my screen with a siren and a warning to call some 888 number! Luckily it didnt lock out my keyboard and allowed me to ctrl alt delete. How in the world did you accept an ad without vetting the source ad legitimate. what if it actually caused harm to my PC or others? Sloppy and poor work by Yahoo. We deserve better.

Provide a preference setting for no video advertisements
I have an old Windows 10 computer with limited memory. The video ads that are displayed while using the new Yahoo mail slow my computer to the point where it says that the web page is not responding. Please provide a way such as through a preference setting to indicate that no video ads are to be displayed. Regular (non-video) ads are perfectly fine.

Stop pandering to the green terrorists
Hi I'm new to Yahoo Mail
there is just one thing that will make me leave faster than I arrived and that is the Genny add that keeps popping up from green peace I hate that ideology of that terrorist organization -
don't post scam ads
Vet the companies you present ads for in your email client. I keep seeing one for https://www.williamleigh.com, which is clearly a scam- look into it- they are falsely presenting themselves as an established high end clothier going out of business after 55 years, yet there is no record of such. My trust in Yahoo goes way down when I see you present this kind of trap.

ad slow down
I have a gaming computer, yet even opening the yahoo page to access my email slows my computer to the point I can't do anything.

browser stalls when loading
It looks like whatever you're loading in the background when opening Mail, probably ads, brings my browser to its knees. Stop loading so much junk.

Change the design
I don't know where to say this: I have had Yahoo mail for decades. I am considering closing my account because of how difficult it now is to avoid clicking on ads. My user experience has been damaged significantly over the last few weeks. I will not pay or upgrade if that is what you are trying to get me to do. I am a former product manager. I understand the need to make money. But you are designing yourself out of this loyal customer.

All the ability to report inappropriate ads
The Ad "SecretMeet" is completely inappropriate. Please do not let these types of domains advertise on your site and I do not want them appearing at the top of the inbox. Allow me to report them as inappropriate instead of asking me to sign up and pay for additional services. I don't mind seeing ads especially since the service I have is free, but I can't get these inappropriate ones removed from my inbox for some reason.

IF ADS ARE MUTED, THEY SHOULD NOT PLAY SOUND
How about when the ads are supposed to ALWAYS be muted, they DON'T START PLAYING SOUND??? The stupid Mega Millions ad is muted, and yet the sound plays EVERY TIME it comes up. Also how about making your "contact us" page under mail help actually functional? It won't let you enter anything and then it won't let you close it. Ridiculous.

Malware posing as one of your Ads
Clicked on a Ad in my inbox feed and it took me to a malware warning page, hijacked my computer. I knew better and did a hard reset. Someone is sending malware as ads! Come on guys! I made a screenshot....

Malicious Ads
You need to give the Trashcan icon on ads listed among our emails in the email list, the same way there is a Trashcan icon in the upper right of each email. I inadvertently clicked on an ad and it went to a VERY malicious website. I was forced to hard boot my laptop as it was taking over. Not allowing us to delete these ads is irresponsible.

KIA Advertising audio won't go silent
The KIA advertising audio overrides the silent mode on the screen. Very annoying, makes me feel less about the brand, manipulative tactic

make it possible to deselect bulk folder
It should be possible for a user to deselect usage of the Bulk mail folder. I don't want the server to decide which messages I should receive. I am currently having a problem where a friend's messages go to Bulk. And a lot of what's in there, I want to see. Please make this possible.

inappropriate adds
How can we remove dating ads from our yahoo email? It is very inappropriate to have these ads in the email that my spouse and I share. Those ads are extremely offensive.
