Don't advertise virus infected ads
My Yahoo mail is showing an Ad indicating it is coming from McAfee.com that says "Payment has failed". It is an obvious scam intending to infect my computer. Use AI to come up with better software to prevent obvious scams from coming into a users InBox.

Remove Ads in email line
Please consider removing the ads that appear in the center of the screen in line with other emails. For older users such as my mother, it's not easy to tell that it's an ad even with the label. I know ads are necessary for the free version however there are a lot of ads in other locations on the page. Thanks for considering this request to ensure safety of all users.

Please stop showing the same ads even after I click "X" to close.
In general, love the new Yahoo Mail web app. That said, I find it annoying that the same ad — namely the ad for 50% off the Monarch app — continues to pop up even after I click "X", which I assume would be analogous to "not interested". I'm a paying customer, and not sure why I need to be bombarded with these distracting ads. Please make it stop. Thank you. Bryan Rulli.

Subject: Security Concern – Ads in Delete Checkbox Triggering Access Attempts
Subject: Security Concern – Ads in Delete Checkbox Triggering Access Attempts
Message:
Hello Yahoo Support,I have experienced a serious security issue with my Yahoo Mail account. Twice now, when I clicked the checkbox to delete an email (without opening it), the box contained an advertisement. As soon as I clicked to delete, it attempted to access my PC.
This means hackers are embedding ads directly into the delete checkbox, so that when users try to remove unknown or suspicious emails, it triggers unauthorised access attempts.
Please investigate and fix this urgently. The delete function should never expose users to…

Ads
I don't mind you flooding my mail with ads, that is fine, but can you please not give me adds about dating and content of a sensitive nature?

deleting spam and trash
I keep deleting spam and trash several times a day and the same ones plus more keep coming back. This is SO irritating and I'm ready to change to a different email system if this does not improve. If spam and trash are deleted, everything deleted should be prevented from reappearing. Can you fix it so that this takes place? Thank you!

No more ****
Hey yahoo -- I appreciate that I have ads. Truly, I don't mind. But ... can they at least NOT be **** ads? That would be great, especially since I have kids and would rather not open up my yahoo email to find **** ads.
Seriously, WTF? Am I going to have to consider my email to be NSFW now?

Yahoo Mail Now Mandates Disabling Ad Blockers to See Full Calender Reminder Times in Inbox
Please go back to the ability to block Yahoo Mail ads with our ad blockers. This change is horrible and may force customers to switch to another web mail provider.

allow **** spam deletion filters
pls do a better job of screening and deleting **** email. I get dozens of ads with f, py, etc in my box. there should be a way to delete these without even seeing them. I have set up filters but they don't work and it just goes to trash, I'd like them screened altogether and never reach my mailbox.
Please make sure you are marking these emails as spam instead of just deleting. Also, if they are newsletters please make sure you unsubscribe from these. We will also share this with our anti-spam team. Thank you!

Stop even the Yahoo ads when I'm a PREMIUM subscriber already.
Just stop. I'm tired of reading about the 75% off advertisement when I open Yahoo Premium for your new service. It doesn't inspire to try it, it turns me off big time from ever trying it.

Actually have NO ADS when you pay for it.
Why with a paid, NO-AD subscription do I still get ads from Yahoo. Latest was for something called Monarch.

Stop Placing Adult Dating Service Ads with my Inbox
I have a seemingly never-ending variety of adult dating service ads at the top of my inbox. A novel concept would be to ask if I am interested in such ads since I do not access any form of adult sites. To give a clue about the possible response if that previous question is asked - I am not interested in seeing ads for adult anything. Please fix this. I will report to any further ads to the FTC website.

Remove annoying ads
The ads are suddenly flashing and playing videos using a lot of data and being a huge distraction. Its making the email page unusable. I'm seriously considering just getting rid of yahoo email because of it. I don't mind static ads, but video of flashing ads are just incredibly frustrating to deal with. I'm not checking my email to watch ads or be distracted by them. I've been using this for years and it really stinks that I might have to xfer over to another email address now because of this recent cash grab by yahoo which is making the…

Check ads for validity
There was an electric bike ad that went to something that looked like a computer virus laden page. Not certain how this gets sent through without being vetted by anyone at all.

Stop Showing Ads in Yahoo Mail+
When I signed up for Mail+, one of the key benefits was an ad-free experience across Yahoo. Since then, that benefit has disappeared, and they've even reduced the amount of inbox storage available. Yet I'm still paying for the "no ads" promise.
So imagine my surprise when I opened my inbox and was greeted by a massive promotion for 50% off the first year of Monarch—presented as a special "perk" for Mail+ users. But let's be honest: it's an ad. And not a subtle one, either. It's huge.

Ads steal cursor away from what I was doing
I am using Windows 10, 148.0.7778.168 (Official Build) (64-bit). As of 5/13/2026, anytime the right side ad banner rotates to a new ad, it takes my cursor from any other part of the window it was in. This is especially frustrating when I am writing, and every 40-70 seconds, my cursor is moved to the right side, and my up/down arrow keys show it was hijacked by the refreshed ad. My browser has no extensions or ad blockers. I sometimes use other browsers that do have ad blockers, but it seems functionality is an ongoing problem for me in Yahoo…
