WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Let us opt out of planner

    On the PLANNER- For God's sake at least let us be able to take stuff OFF of the planner. Your AI is getting all the stuff wrong. It's a headache and very stressful.

  2. When I select "full calendar" I can only see today's calendar instead of a monthly calendar.

    Can only see today's calendar, not a week or monthly calendar of events. This greatly diminishes value of the calendar. Give back the weekly monthly and year calendars. We are not fans of the new Yahoo.

  3. physically separate emails by date

    the old format of separating emails by date was very useful for seeing the newest emails. The new format with the date posted at the right is not as useful. Maybe different colors for different dates could also work.

  4. daily/weekly/ monthly Calendar View or right hand in email

    Currently to see calendar the click opens new tab for calendar, instead why cant daily/weekly/ monthly Calendar view be displayed on the right hand pane, where Calendar and Notepad links are present. I believe it was present in earlier version. Its very inconvenient to switch between tabs, instead clubbing summary calendar view in mail tab will help.

  5. provide ability to delete "Events from Mail" calendar, improved training, and improved notification

    I spent +3 hours between Yahoo and Apple customer service. I recently noticed a new calendar named "sys-ext-events$ on all of my Apple devices. Not knowing what this is, I tried to delete but it kept coming back. I thought my devices were infected, putting my personal files at risk. Apple said it was a Yahoo issue and Yahoo said it was an Apple issue. Apple eventually directed me to calendar.yahoo.com where I was able to see my calendars. There is one listed as "Events from Mail." I tried to delete but cannot. It was confirmed by your representative that…

  6. Add Easter to the US Holiday calendar

  11. Full calendar year display - ability to choose this view

    Add back ability to see all 12 months displayed. In old version of yahoo mail, you could easily choose to look at the whole year by month, just displaying the numerical dates by month Jan-Dec. That does not seem to exist in the new version.

  13. calendar

    I'm trying to get used to the new email look, but I would like a panel on the right with my calendar. Right now, you only have "Starred" and "Contacts," and the only way to see my calendar is to open it in another tab. I want a quick list of my week, meetings, etc., without having to open the full calendar and switch to another tab. You had this feature in the previous version.

  14. stop sending agenda emails from days with nothing scheduled in calendar.

    I have been trying to stop emails from calendar for over a year with no success. even days with nothing scheduled sends me an agenda. Help stop this waste of time.

  16. Calendar invite. Please go back to classic version

    In this newly e mail that was enhancend, i do not see a where i can accept an invite for a meeting when party send an invite. please fix this. I had use google to search on how to accept meeting invite and followed the instructions, to the teeth, and i do not see a where to accept it.

    This is emergency as i had sent a few feedback within last 2 weeks.
