WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Calendar Default View

    SInce your last Yahoo mail software update, my Yahoo calendar defaults to a weekly view instead of my desired monthly view. I see no option to adjust the calendar default view back to monthly. Please fix.

  3. Improved Calendar Event Editing

    When I edit an existing Calendar Event - change the date - then click on another field such as the time - the square calendar box where I selected the new date does NOT close. This makes it difficult to select the SAVE button. Please improve this.

  4. Calendar: Fix the sports teams links

    The favorite sports team sync with the Yahoo! calendar does not pull over games onto the calendar anymore, and/or it is spotty and missing games.

  5. Why do Calendar appointments default to "All Day" appointments now?

    Please set it back the way it was before. You are creating more work for users.

  6. Give us back the monthly view as a default

    Or at least let us decide. After having the monthly view as a default for decades, you not only change it... there's no option to set it back.

    Also, the new color choices for calendars are so ugly. I hate them all!!! Please give us some muted or pastel colors instead of the garish ugly choices available now.

  7. Can't view meeting calendar

    Hi! Ever since the new look, when people schedule a meeting via Teams, I can't see any info in my email. Usually it's at the top of the email, but now it's just a blank. The attachment is a blank as well.
    So I can't see when the meeting is at all, and can't respond.
    When I forward the email to Gmail, it's all there.

  8. Update "More on Yahoo" menu in Calendar to match the one in Mail

    Please update the "More on Yahoo" menu in the new version of Calendar to include icons next to the text (News, Finance, Sports, etc.), so that it matches the "More on Yahoo" menu that can be found when viewing messages in the new Yahoo Mail.

  9. calendar needs help

    I don't know what happened but my calendar has changed is basically not at all useful. Anytime I'm invited from an outlook account now - for a teams meeting - there is no link for me to follow to join the meeting. The calendar defaults to a week view - and I have to change it to a month view every time. I like the old one better.

  10. You can improve yhoo mail by restoring the ability for users to see the dates they entered in the calendar.

    Dear Yahoo team, please, stop improving the calendar and restore the customer's ability to see the dates I've added that are important for me. Everything has become terrible, and I'm looking for other ways to add them to the calendar from different sources.

  11. Zoom - Meeting Invitations

    The old yahoo would give me the meeting along with the zoom invite in emails. This version is not giving me the date of the meeting to RSVP to with the zoom like like it should!

  12. Calendar Timezones

    I need to be able to change my settings on Time Zones from ETC/ GMT to EST. The drop-down menu does not give me the option to do this. Please fix this and let me know. Thank you.
