WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. starred messages

    when checking my starred emails on my desktop computer and being on the second or further page of my messages, the page jumps back to the first page after un-starring a mail (This doesn't happen when I do this on my phone). This is a very annoying problem ...

  2. get rid of the 3 dot submenu

    why is starred hidden behind the 3 dot page. in fact, why is there a 3 dot page. both my pc and my mobile phone app have room to display all the subcategories. take that **** off or i am perma swapping to gmail

  3. Star Email option in Email List

    At the moment, I have to open an email before I can star it, which is quite inconvenient. It would be much more efficient if users could star important emails directly from the email list view. I’m not sure why such a basic feature is so difficult to implement, but luckily your team starting to recognize how essential easy access to starred or important emails list is.

    Yes, you can star an email without opening that email. Looking at your Inbox, just hover with your mouse on the right hand side and you'll see icons show up... one of them is the star icon. Thanks!

    Please return the easy Star option to each line and on the filter.

  5. Automatic STARRED *

    Since I belong to an AUTOMATIC subscription is there a rule by which I can STAR THAT particular email AUTOMATICALLY??
    That would be really helpful.

  6. Add option to "start"

    Add the ability to "star" a message at the left, without opening it. Similar to Android App

  7. By combing read/ unread in Inbox

    I would like to see all my mail in Inbox.
    Now I have to pay attention to go to Unread to see if I have left something out

  8. Overall "new" format for Mail

    i do not like this format at all. It looks like a kindergarten drawing. I don't like the starred view, and why does "Priority" continue to be checked and on top so that I have to click on All every time? This is just such a bad format, I am seriously considering just cancelling this account.
