WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Have differnt Star Colors

    I was thinking it would be great if the user could change the star color from just red. I personally star a tone of emails but they are for different things like work, purchase orders, medical and so on. So for example, I could star my work emails with a yellow star and for medical a blue star and so on. Just food for thought.

    I want the ability to hide or minimize it -- it just takes up space (I want the full-width view of my inbox back)

    Why is there no star button on the inbox header? It only appears on the ones previously starred before the new UI.

  8. Toggle Star in List View

    Please bring back my ability to toggle the star in list view! You have taken my favorite tool away! And you keep doing it, so I reverted back to the old interface. And now you have taken away my ability to revert to the old interface to get my ability to toggle the star on and off in the list view! You are NOT improving my user experience!

    again you have proven you can make your email product worse with the new layout.
    do any of you admit in public you work for yahoo? do you see successful companies implement anything you do?
    start listening to dummies like me who regrettably still pay for this service.

  10. Starred Email section on the right takes up too much space.

    The starred email section can be collapsed but it reappears every time yahoo mail is refreshed or closed and reopened. there needs to be a setting to save the collapsed view so it doesn't keep popping up, thus requiring extra clicks to (temporarily) collapse it again.

  11. Get rid of the terrible sidebar in yahoo mail

    Get rid of the sidebar in the new mail layout. Why the **** do you people do this stupid ****? I didn't ask for it and I pay the money each month for plus. The starred view is obnoxious and gets in the way of my email preview and I can't disable it.

  12. No STAR Icon

    No STAR icon when I hover over the message on the right side. All I see is the DELETE! Where is the STAR? Why do I need to click 3 times to get to the star?

  13. automatic starring

    I would like certain emails always to be marked as priority. creating a rule for this would be helpful but even easier for me would be if i could star contacts so they are always marked as priority and i can sort by that or see them in the starred view at the top right or in my inbox view automatically and then maintain the remaining sort for the rest of the inbox. probably since you have the starred view this is good enough. Which by the way it would be nice (unless it does this already) to show only…

  14. i dont like that what i starred was erased because i needed more storage so had to erase alot in my inbox but never new it would erase my st

    i needed more storage to had to get rid of my mail in my inbox but never thought it would erase my starred stuff as well with out letting me know about it. i had extremely important stuff starred and now it is gone!!!!!
