where is compose?
where is it ?
When looking at your Inbox, you will see the Compose icon in the top, left hand side. You can also expand the left hand navigation and then you'll see the full word "Compose" in the top, left hand side. Hope this helps!

Adding Contacts
I would like to add a few contacts but all I see is linking to other providers. Really???
Looking at the Inbox, you will find "Contacts" in the top, right hand side. From there click on the "..." (three dots) and from there you can Add more Contacts. Thanks!

There is an error to sent out email
There is an error message to send out email as well as I unable to receive any email since 13/8/2026.
Kindly ratify it soonest.Hi Catherine, thanks for the feedback. Have you checked your Storage limits? We did launch new Storage guidelines. If you are over the storage number, you won't be able to send or receive emails.
You can check by going to Settings > Manage Storage. Thanks!

Mail to be sent at a later date
Introduce an option to save a mail to be sent at a later date, which can be chosen by the sender.
Hi Paul, we do have a "schedule later" feature! Just compose your email and the purple "Send" button will have a drop down arrow next to it. From there, you can schedule to send the email at a later time. Hope this helps!

saving email id on person or instituational name
after sending an email we should receive an option as pop up to save the same email id on a perticular name .
Anything you send an email to a sender, we automatically save that sender under your Contacts. Thanks.

Better preview
The files preview doesn't work.
The preview shows a messed up file, different from the original file, it gets very worse if the file is a word file or excel file.Hi Valeria, it would be super helpful to know what browser you are using and browser version. Keep the name associated with my email address from changing to an unknown name.
There appears to be a glitch in the new Yahoo Mail system. When I compose and send an email, everything looks normal at first. However, when I later check the message in my Sent folder, the name associated with my email address has changed to an unknown name.
I checked my account settings to verify that the display name had not been altered, and it still shows the correct name that I entered. Despite this, outgoing messages in my Sent folder continue to display an unfamiliar name attached to my email address.
I have searched through the Help section but…

There is no 'Save' button in Vacation Message settings
I've tried the app, Google Chrome and Safari on my laptop and in none of them after I go through all steps is there a 'Save' button to click on so that my vacation message will appear. Why is that?
Hi Jay, thanks for your feedback! Yes, there is no "Save" button, but instead we have the toggle on/off for vacation response. You turn it on and the vacation response will work til you toggle it off. Hope this helps!

Hi there, you can archive the email without going back to the Inbox. You can do it right from reading the email (Message Read). When looking at the email, just click on the three dots above the email (...) and from there can Archive the email.

High Importance
There needs to be an option to send an email as High Importance. This feature is very helpful when sending an email or a response to someone's email so they see its urgent.

Hi Laura, thanks for your feedback. We are working on adding a way for you to say a certain email or sender is Priority, so stay tuned. For now, you can move an email to a certain category. For example, if an impt email goes to the "offers" category, you can move it to "Primary."

Still cannot find contacts in my contacts!
I search for 'Peter' but it does not find peterdyounng
I search Higgins and it find him and suggests peterdyoung and allows me to 'update' his email and add to contacts but still cant find him on his own.
I search contacts, find the target, click the email address and it goes into the To: box. Search and find second address, select email address does not go into To: box but searches for all emails from that person instead! Inconsistent behaviour!

Fix a text entry problem
When composing an email I often have to reset the cursor position as it disappears from the body of the email and I can't enter any more text. I use Firefox as my browser so could there be a problem with it rather than Yahoo?

Bring back a feature
When composing a message and pasting in a graphic (in the text message area, not as an attachment), yahoo mail used to offer a feature where the user could click on the right corner of the graphic before the message was sent that allowed the user to change it to an attachment or make it smaller or remove it completely. It'd be great to bring that feature back. Also offer user a method to remove an image that he pasted into the text(again, before sending the message) if user decides they don't want to include an image before sending.

When writing an email. You can't format the email for paragraphs, greetings, signoffs, or anything else. It's just one run-on sentence.Sucks
Make the body of emails being sent formattable. The current one run-on sentence looks terrible, unprofessional, and makes a bad impression on the receiver. As is, I won't be using Yahoo Mail for much of anything slightly important. When the email can start looking like you have an education, instead of a four-year-old writing it, I'll return. For now, I'll see what "Gmail" offers.

Paragraphs in mobile app
Dear All,
When replying to or composing a new message in Yahoo Mail mobile app all paragraphs are being removed and the message is displayed and sent like one long line. This is highly inconvenient, please fix this as soon as possible.
