Automatically show editable "Subject" lines when replying/forwarding an email
When replying/forwarding an email I can't edit the subject line or CC/BCC lines without having to click a little arrow next to the "to" line and selecting "edit subject" or "edit BCC and CC".
It's confusing when the subject line is already large and bold at the top of the email, but I can't click on it to edit. Instead I have to go hunting around for how to edit it.

Ability to select a sender for forwarding emails from selected sender
Allow forwarding only emails originally sent by a selected sender. Gmail has this function. I want to forward only emails that I receive from my insurance company; I want to forward those to my wife’s gmail account. Now I have to do this in reverse; I have the emails sent to my wife’s gmail account, and from gmail I forward them to yahoo.

Suppress keyboard shortcuts
It seems far too easy to go into keyboard shortcuts accidentally while typing. I somehow managed to delete not only my reply but also the original email several times and have had to ask for it to be resent.

Hi,
I use the new UI on Windows 11 with screen resolution 1280x720.
Here is what I don’t like:When I click on the button « Compose » and in the field « To: » I select a few addresses it show the first address and after that « +2 more ». Please show all the addresses.
When I am in a conversation that have a few messages:
a) There is only one button « Reply », at the end of the conversation. It should have a button « Reply » at the end of every message that I received…

Filters need to be adjusted by rightclicking the e-mail just it was in the older version of the Yahoo Mail.

forwarding to pop mail like outlook
I have been using MS Outlook for 20 years using pop mail from Yahoo. I have about 40 folders with 20 year old important emails and 100 email contacts when I read an email I want it to stay visible unless I file it in a subfolder or delete it. I don't want an email to disappear when I delete it. I will move emails to delete forever. Yahoo Mail is a poor substitute. I have 40 years and 7.5G of important emails on my laptop

create customized permanent email address
I'm trying to figure out: 1. how to create a new customized email address that doesn't have @yahoo.com at the end; 2. be able to forward emails sent from the old islandcandleschs@yahoo.com email address to the new inbox for the new custom email address created. thank you that worked. that's all for now. I contacted a help agent after signing up for Yahoo+ thinking it was a feature (like Google's subscription plan offers). She told me to submit a request for this feature to be added here. As a business owner, this would be a very helpful tool.

Pop out window for reply
Can we get a pop out window for replies to inbox emails? Or could the reply be pinned to the top / most recent post? My reply keeps getting buried and I can;t find the thread again if I go to attach a file, and this has resulted in a disruption of business emails, with either no reply sent or reply sent twice, or double attachments. It is diffucult to tell which email in the thread I am replying to, or to include just one of several recipients. About to switch to gmail!

keep emails from same person separated
Reply / forward - keep emails separated. They are all jumbled together and nothing is in order. Hate this format of email. And show them all - no one knows what I prioritize but me.

I set up my company mail to forward emails to my yahoo account, from last tuesday, Unfotunatelly I did not set up to keep copies of forwarded emails. I realized that I did not get any mail

Get rid of it automatically deleting/moving things from my inbox that I have forwarded to others. They just disappear.

Auto Fill in Email
I absolutely HATE the autofill feature when trying to write in the email when replying / forwarding emails. It totally replaces what I'm trying to write with completely nonsensical information.

Archive option keeps disappearing, and does not work when it does appear

Expand email filter functionalities
Hi,
Would it be possible to consider adding more filter rules to inboxes? Moving emails to other folders is great and all, but it would be even better f we could have other features such as auto-marking emails as read, auto-forwarding emails based on the filter rules, etc.
Most other email providers (Outlook, GMail) already have these features and more set in place.

Tabbing to next option or field is in wrong order
When I forward an email, it starts my cursor in the To field. But when I hit tab -- expecting to go to the body of the message -- it goes to CC and BCC but then goes to the Yahoo Mail logo in the left corner. Next it goes to Search, Advanced, etc. It should go to the body as that would be my most likely next area I want to type.

Two people with whom I have been in constant email contact for OVER 10 YEARS HAVE NOW BEEN RELEGATED TO THE SPAM BOX!!!!!! What's going on?
