WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

    Reading and responding to emails within a chain is almost entirely unusable. You don't need to include the entire chain of responses with every reply it makes is so confusing and unreadable.

  2. Moving messages from Sent box to inbox

    For some reason, yahoo mail has changed in the last week or so. Used to be I could send a message to someone, and then move that sent message back to my inbox so I could remind myself if the person didn't respond. Now when moving that message, it says that it "moved to primary", but it's not there.

    Also yesterday I encountered another new situation that is a change. An incoming messsage dropped into the spam folder that I didn't want to be spam. When I try to move it to the inbox, it will not move there.

  3. Keep "reply", "reply all", "forward", "Read/Unread", "Star", "Move", "Delete" & "Spam" buttons positions static.

    In the latest edition of the Yahoo mail, the "reply all" button has been made conditional where it appears or disappears based on whether the email chain has one or more persons on it. When this happens, the location of the delete and spam buttons to move. Previously, I would keep my mouse on the delete button and keep clicking on it as I am going down my emails. Now, when the "reply all" button disappears, the spam button shifts to the location where the delete button used to be. And unintentionally, I end up marking the email as spam…

  4. Can not forward emails with attachments

    As in a few days ago I could not forward emails with attachments. I have to go to the old version to do so.
    Also, I do not know why now every attachment gets copied twice. If I send an email with 5 attachments when I go back to my email now it has 10 files.

    How often are you allowed to make changes? It is taking way too long for these things to get fixed.

  5. FWD msg to recipient

    The last time there was a yahoo update a feature seemed to change.
    Now, when i hit forward on an email, it DOESNT automatically put the cursor in the TO field for the recipient. Im not sure where its selected, but it needs to go back to that, like it is on every other mail platform. When you fwd to someone, I should be able to start typing the address without first having to click in the TO field. thanks!!

  6. Replying to emails in threads

    Its getting very difficult to reply in the thread emails. Whenever I type its hides the above lines and I have to scroll up all the time; moreover, if I copy and paste then it takes me to the last message and if the email thread is long then I have search for my message again to send it. Your new update is not effecive
