Currently there's no Themes or Customization in the NEW Yahoo! Mail.
Exactly what the title idea states. This is something that is sorely needed in the NEW Yahoo! Mail. Being able to use Custom Backgrounds or Themes (ones that are MUCH better than the basic ones that the older Yahoo! Mail was using.
I want to be able to make my Inbox look like how I want it to look. A basic "Light", "Dark" and "Device" aesthetic is not good enough and is very boring and uninspiring, to say the least. This is what will keep me using the older Yahoo! Mail, as it at least has some kind of Theme…Hi Damian, very sorry, but we currently have no plans in adding more themes or backgrounds. We had many before and it had very very low usage. Most of our community stayed with the default. So due to this and high upkeep we made the decision to not support more and simplify it. Thanks!

Themes not there
Greetings and Good evening
New Yahoo Mail is not having Good themesTravel booking and all other features are not there.

I would like to switch back to the new, prefer old format
Yesterday my yahoo experience changed and I would like an option to switch it back to the old design. It's what I am used to and prefer, as I have used that one the past nearing 25 years.
Unfortunately, there is no reverting back. We are EOLing the old version here soon. Very sorry! We hope you give the new layout a fair chance. Thanks!

Complaint Regarding Yahoo Mail Interface Changes
Dear Yahoo Support,
I am a long-time Yahoo Mail user and a paying customer who recently purchased additional storage space.
After recent changes to Yahoo Mail, the interface I had used for years has disappeared. The previous layout was much more comfortable, easier to read, and more suitable for my daily use.
The new interface is difficult for me to use, and I can no longer find the appearance options and themes that were previously available. I especially miss the ability to customize the look and feel of my mailbox.
I would like to know:
Is it possible to restore…

Theme Color
I would like to be able to choose a theme color as is able on the mail app.

Backgrounds in Appearance?
How about different backgrounds or themes in Mail? Allow us to personalize our accounts, not have to stick with something unimaginative or boring?
We had tons of themes and backgrounds and unfortunately they were barely used. So with very very low usage and high upkeep, we made the decision to not support all those and instead keep it simplified. Sorry about that, but thank you for loving that!

Email themes
So, I switched to the new email. I want my theme back! Or, where did the themes go? I can't find them.

Old Version
I cannot deal with the new version email at all. My brain is going nuts & I'm stressed because I can't even look at my emails without my brain swirling. Way too busy with icons, dots, bold modern print. Why oh why would you even think this new version is better!

Themes
I miss having the color choices that were in the last version. White is too bright and dark is just too dull.
Hi Owen, yes we did have many themes before and unfortunately a majority of our users always kept the default theme. Therefore with low usage and high up keep, we decided not to support more themes and kept it simplified. Hope you can understand!

Appearance
The WHITE appearance is too bright. The Dark Appearance is too dark. I have trouble seeing which e-mails have not been opened because the colors are too similar. How about a gray or medium level?
Very sorry, but we currently have no plans in adding anymore themes/backgrounds etc. Based on the default use, and low usage, we are keeping it all simplified. Hope you can understand!

Allow themes like classic mail had or at least make a softer theme
It's either too bright or too dark with nothing in-between

I want my old yahoo mail folder and page back
PLEASE give me back the way yahoo mail used to look. this is awful... my computer died and when I restarted it all my yahoo mail pages converted to this new version which is no good and makes it difficult to see my mail, find my mail and read my mail.

This entirety of yahoo email system is gay and so ******* unfriendly. It sucks! It is your way to control and scam and market and sell the user data. I hate this ******* platform. Moving on and deleting this piece of **** email system ****! HATE IT and HATE Yahoo!

STOP changing things for the sake of changing them and no other reason.
I don't need ANY new features in my email.
I just need email I trust and understand.

Need the themes in the new version too
I loved the new Yahoo inbox look but I still prefer being able to choose from the various themes in the old version and give my personal touch. The new inbox looks like a rented unit the old felt like my home. Please see if you can add the themes-like thing in the new setup. Thanks
Very sorry, we have decided to keep our themes simplified because of very low usage. We had tons of themes before, but majority of our users kept the default. So with high upkeep and very low usage, we made the decision to keep things simple. Thanks!
